"Perfect location on the water - We were here for a weekend and really wanted to enjoy the summer weather by the water. What really counts here at the campsite: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Pitches right on the water. Top! However, many of these great pitches are already occupied by seasonal campers and only a few remain for tourists. We were also unlucky and had to squeeze in between two seasonal campers. According to the pitch, it was supposed to be 10x10m, so more suitable for a 9m caravan (rounded up). When we had parked, thanks to the mover, there was still 5 cm of space in front and 3 cm in the back! We would have liked to have simply parked quest in the gap, but we weren't allowed to! Unfortunately, the parking attendant was very unfriendly and told us not to. As we had to squeeze into the space, a seasonal camper lady arrived straight away and had to inspect everything we were doing very carefully. A short time later, the same lady sent our older son (8 years old) away from "their" water entrance in a very unfriendly manner. There are no fixed rules for this, but it wouldn't have mattered if it had at least been friendly. The other staff we saw on the following days were very friendly and always smiling. The site is huge and you can really let off steam in and around the water. There are also lots of large playgrounds for the kids. The fact that there is actually no toilet paper in the sanitary facilities also took some getting used to for us, but it was manageable. :-) I think we'll be back, but we'll have a closer look to see which pitch is free.

"Shared enthusiasm - We chose this campsite because we wanted to relax for a few days after an exhausting trip, which we managed to do in terms of peace and quiet. On our arrival we were irritated by the very sober welcome, but we were really annoyed by the surcharge of €3 for a pitch by the water, which was not mentioned when we made the arrangements and which we could only find on a very elaborate price list, of course only after we had already paid. The next annoyance awaited us directly at the pitch, which was without question very beautiful and really located with direct access to the water, but there were several large piles of poo all over the pitch, which looked very similar to those of dogs. When we asked, we were told that it was from the geese and there was nothing we could do. That's quite possible, but a friendly hint would have made things a lot easier. We then cleaned up the droppings of these really impressive animals ourselves. The ONE barrier key that you also need for showers and hot water is also very impractical. This has to be charged and when you put it in, 3 cents are gone without you having seen any water, and showering or showering and washing up at the same time is completely impossible, as you only have one key. Unfortunately, I'm still not finished with the "list of defects", because boiling water in the WW is also not possible (electricity is included!) because the fuse blows if the fridge happens to start. We waited about 90 minutes until this was fixed, were completely frustrated and then boiled our water in the laundry room. It is similar with the WiFi, it is included but when you want to use it you are told that you are only entitled to 15 minutes per day and you can't even interrupt it. Once you've started using it, it runs without mercy, even if you switch off the WiFi on the device. This is particularly bad if you start the WLAN at 11:50 pm. Since you can't stop it, the 15 minutes are gone for 2 days. We are really sorry, but we will probably not come here again.
