"Reservation is an advantage - Sanitary facilities are good, the pitches are partly in the shade. I didn't try the campsite's own restaurant, but you're so close to the city center, where there's something for everyone. With a guest card you can also use the bus without any problems.

"Super location, lovely campsite - Things have gotten really busy since we were last here some 6 years ago. People lining up at 8 am in the morning to check-in. We arrived at 10am and it took over an hour waiting in line.

"City camping - The course is located directly on the lake, but unfortunately has no lake view. You have to choose a pitch via the pitch plan and it can happen that you end up right next to the adjacent tennis court. Some pitches are apparently used as parking spaces, so that if you look out of the window you can see traffic cones and junk. I imagine a pitch by the lake (pitch 20 CHF, per person 10 CHF + 4 CHF electricity + garbage + visitor's tax), especially at this price, to be something else. Wifi is free, but very weak. It works better with your own smartphone hotspot.

Der Parkähnlich angelegte 4-Stern Camping liegt abseits von Strassenlärm und doch nur wenige Autominuten vom Stadtkern (direkte Busverbindung) und 3 Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Die Lage ist ideal für Tagesausflüge in die Berge, auf den Seen, für einen Stadtbummel oder …für einen Besuch im Verkehrshaus oder für diverse sportliche Aktivitäten. Nachts ist der Platz für Motorfahrzeuge geschlossen und bewacht (Juni-August).Der Platz ist ausgestattet mit modernen sanitären Anlagen und einem gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit TV und WLAN. Für das leibliche Wohl wird im Bistro gesorgt. Im Sommer spenden Bäume und Hecken genügend Schatten. Mietcaravans, Touristenlager und Bungalows werden zu günstigen Preisen angeboten.
