"Very nice place - The pitch is highly recommended. Small store on the pitch. Bread roll service. Beautiful hiking and biking area. You can get to Appenzell quickly by public transport. The Kronbergbahn is a 5-minute walk away.

"Easter vacation 2021 - We stayed over Easter with a motorhome and a caravan on this very nice site. Mr. Huber the site owner took very good care of us, as we surprised our son with his wife and grandson. we could stand opposite each other. Mr. Huber organized this at short notice. Sanitary facilities absolutely top and clean. Small store and gas bottle exchange on site. I am traveling in Europe with the motorhome but I have never experienced such a groundsman who takes such good care of the guests. Mr. Huber, keep up the good work, we will certainly be visiting again.

"Like our second home - A quiet and natural campsite. Leo Huber, owner and groundsman, is friendly and helpful. A new sanitary building was built two years ago. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a small but well-stocked store that has everything a camper's heart desires. Hikes of all levels can be undertaken from the site. The Appenzellerbahn train stop is about 10-15 minutes away. Many thanks to Leo Huber for your great hospitality. We would love to come back again and again!

Profile

Wunderschön gelegener großer Campingplatz mit vielen Dauercampern. Großer Zeltplatz und ca. 20 Wohnmobilstellplätze. Dieser Platz befindet sich auf einer Hochebene zwischen Urnäsch und Appenzell und ist gut erreichbar. Hier ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die ganze Familie zu Ausflügen (Talstation …der Kronbergbahn vor Ort) und Aktivitäten, denn die Bahnstation liegt direkt am Platz. Wandern, Paragliden, Radfahren oder nur einfach die Natur genießen. Der Platz ist ganzjährig geöffnet zum gleichen Preis. Hunde sind erlaubt. Ein gut sortierter Laden bietet ortsübliche Spezialitäten. Keine Restauration vor Ort, aber in ca. 10 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Wlan kostenpflichtig. Spielplatz, Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Direkt an der Bahnlinie, daher gut für Ausflüge ins Umland ohne Fahrzeug geeignet.
