"Beautiful place at the great Weißensee - We spent part of our summer vacation here and enjoyed it. The proximity to the lake, the proximity to the village, beautiful cycling and hiking trails. The staff are friendly, the leisure facilities are good and the sanitary facilities are very clean. A clear recommendation from us for this campsite!

"Sprightly senior couple with dog - The campsite is ideally located in relation to the beautiful lake. The sanitary building is new and modern, but too much space has been wasted. 5 showers and 8 washbasins are simply not enough for a fully booked campsite. The access road to the campsite and the driveways to the individual pitches are very narrow. The pitches themselves are very close together. We had a comfort pitch, but it didn't live up to its claim. Located at the end of a bend, only 2/3 of it could be used as a pitch. The other third was "used" as a "passageway" by other campers. Shopping facilities, nice restaurants, chairlift for mountain bikers and hikers, landing stage for the small shipping company....all this is nearby. Conclusion: It's a shame that the campsite operator has packed the place so full. It lacks the certain flair that actually characterizes this beautiful area. We felt it was mass tourism, which as a hiker and nature lover in the mountains you really want to avoid. However, it is certainly a good place for families with small children.

"A fantastic active vacation - We really appreciate the location of the campsite. You can be active here every day, and if it's raining hard there's always a walk by the lake. In good weather there are numerous opportunities for hiking and cycling, or you can go across the road to the swimming pool. The culinary offerings in the restaurants are also excellent.

"Very nice quiet campsite - We spent two wonderful weeks at the Knaller campsite on Lake Weissensee. From the campsite you could go directly to the on-site beach to swim in the lake. Shopping facilities (Spar market) are also within walking distance. We would love to come back. After we liked it so much in 2018, we were here again this year and could very well imagine a repeat in 2020😃😃
