"Camping Koggenland, lots of camping for a few euros a night - I discovered this campsite last summer actually by chance, located in the middle of green North Holland yet close to places like Heerhugowaard and Hoorn. The campsite is ideal for people with children and peace seekers, equipped with its own swimming pool and a 1000 M2 partly covered playground, restaurant and free to use computer room. The washing machine is not missing either. The sanitary facilities are sin more excellent. Water, electricity, showers, parking plus tourist tax are included in the, in my opinion, friendly overnight rate of €15 during high season. It is nice to mention that at this campsite one does not pay a surcharge per person, extra tent or pet. The pitches are substantial, 80 M2, some are situated on wind-blown spots but most are well protected from any summer storms. Each pitch has its own 10 AMP power supply plus water point. M.B.T.messages were dependent on nearby Heerhugowaard, Obdam or Hoorn until August 21, 2015. Now at 600 meters from the campsite is a supermarket ( Alle Hens on the Dorpsweg opposite restaurant 't Springend Paard ). In short, a campsite that deserves a little publicity.
