"Well, it goes like this - We stayed here for a week. CP is quiet ideal for relaxing. What we did not like . Hot water for flushing you have to pay 10 cents (rip-off) just as coin-operated showers are no longer up to date. The concept should be reconsidered. Sanitary and showers outdated should be renovated. No bread service.

"Camping for purists - We stayed at this site for a hiking weekend and can only confirm all the reviews that emphasize the tranquillity of the surroundings and the friendliness of the owner. Admittedly, the sanitary facilities are quite small, but according to Mr. Köhler they are to be extended soon. You can get supplies at the REWE supermarket in Wildflecken, which is not far away and can also be reached by bike. What we particularly liked was the relaxed atmosphere when we "checked out" on Sunday. At a neighboring campsite, we had to leave by 11 am in previous years (why actually?) and here we were able to pay and leave comfortably by 12:30 pm. We will be back!

"It all depends on the operator! - The operator, Mr. Köhler, is the friendliest and most helpful person I have met and appreciated in so many years of camping! No matter what the problem, Mr. Köhler is always there to help and advise. The site is always clean and the pitches are very pleasant. We always feel very comfortable in the Röhn and on the site.

"Playground and sanitary facilities - The toilets are from the 80s. The kitchen only has a 2-burner stove that works with a coin slot. There is no oven, microwave or fridge. The lounge is old-fashioned and looks untidy. Smaller children can fall down between the very large gap between the slide and the wooden railing, at least 2 meters to the ground.

Äußerst ruhig liegt der Campingplatz mitten im Biosphärenreservat "Rhön" unterhalb des 930 Meter hohen Kreuzberges; der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Das 20.000 Quadratmeter große Areal am Ortsrand von Oberwildflecken bietet Platz für 120 Parzellen. In den sanitären Anlagen befinden sich …Waschbecken, Duschen und WCs und ein Geschirrspülraum. Es stehen Kochstellen sowie Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner zur Verfügung. Ein Aufenthaltsraum kann zum gemütlichen Zusammensitzen genutzt werden. Ein kleiner Kinderspielplatz grenzt direkt an. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten sind in den anliegenden Ortschaften Wildflecken und Bischofsheim nach ca. 3 km erreichbar. Die nähere Umgebung lädt zu einer abwechslungsreichen Urlaubsgestaltung ein: die Rodelbahnen auf der Wasserkuppe, das Kloster Kreuzberg oder das Erlebnisbad in Bad Brückenau. Im Umkreis von nur wenigen Kilometern sind Skilifte und Langlaufloipen erreichbar.
