"Beautiful vacation - Very clean and quiet, toilets and showers were not even dirty in the 2 weeks (thank you "cleaner"). Also ideal for dogs as there is a country lane next to the campsite. There you can also walk through the forest or into the next village. There is a bus stop at the site. Opposite the campsite is a kiosk where you can get sandwiches, a snack and delicious Italian ice cream. Next to it is the "Seeside" restaurant, which serves very good food. Lake Chiemsee is not far away. You can have a good time on a large lawn. The water is very clear and had a temperature of 18 degrees at the beginning of June. (It seems warmer because it goes in very shallow) The campsite is a very good starting point for cycling tours, excursions by car or hiking. If you need a book, you can also borrow one. There is a playhouse and a playground for children. This was our 2nd time here and it won't be the last! Really recommended.

"Nice little place - The site is very noisy due to its location on 2 busy roads. The sanitary facilities are very old, worn and not always clean. 2 indoor showers in the men's area are very few.

"Hospitable place, inadequate infrastructure - In Corona times, it makes sense to make a reservation. The campsite is usually full due to its location directly on Lake Chiemsee. However, the very active and hospitable operators usually find a place to stay for spontaneous travelers. The site is kept very clean, especially the outdated sanitary facilities. This makes up a little for the fact that when the site is very busy you have to wait in front of the showers and toilets. Those who are happy with a more traditional camping experience will also feel at home here. A number of young families with children certainly seemed to like it. The site is therefore not for the "discerning". But it is also reasonably priced ...

"nice little place - We had a very nice vacation there :) We were allowed to choose our own pitch on arrival & take up as much space as we needed. We particularly liked the direct access to the Chiemsee. The boat landing stage is also within walking distance :)

Am Nordufer des Chiemseestrandes befindet sich der Campingplatz Kupferschmiede. Durch seine Lage inmitten einer waldreichen Umgebung stehen den Gästen sowohl sonnige als auch schattige Stellplätze zur Auswahl. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen auf dem Gelände sind mit Einzelwaschkabinen, einem behindertengerechten WC, Waschmaschine und …Wäschetrockner ausgestattet. Ein Gasverkauf ist ebenso auf dem Platz zu finden wie ein öffentliches Telefon. Den Gästen wird ein Internetzugang angeboten. Unmittelbar am Gelände befindet sich das platzeigene Gasthaus Kupferschmiede. Neben gepflegten Gästezimmern bietet das angeschlossene Restaurant seinen Gästen neben der Brotzeit auch warme Speisen an. Die Gäste haben Gelegenheit, sich mit einer gut sortierten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln und Getränken selbst zu versorgen. Rund um den Chiemsee gibt es ein abwechslungsreiches Freizeitangebot. Ein Boot- und Surfbrettverleih ist ebenso vorhanden wie die Möglichkeiten des Reiten, Golfen oder Tennis spielen. Die reizvolle Landschaft lädt ein zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen oder Radtouren. Beliebte Ausflugsziele sind außerdem in der näheren Umgebung gelegene Orte wie z. B. das Mammut Museum, Salzbergwerk Berchtesgaden oder der Tierpark Salzburg, Wildpark Oberreith, Märchenpark Marquartstein, und Freizeitpark Ruhpolding.
