"Cycling along the Loire - We received a very friendly welcome from Sarah and had a great stay. The campsite has rental tents and a clean pool, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are clean. The reception offers a bread roll service and drinks and snacks are also available. When we had a technical problem with our car, Sarah was extremely helpful and we would like to thank her again. We would come back at any time! Marlies & Ulli

"Run-down campsite - We chose the site as a stopover, but it is in a terrible state, whether it's the unkempt pitches or the completely inadequate, outdated sanitary facilities. I recommend the campsite "Le Mambre in Para-le-Monial". Not the very best site either, but at least 1-2 stars better than the one here in Digoin.

"Good ambience - A great welcome, very friendly owners, sufficient and clean sanitary facilities, clean pitches with few pitches. Beautifully situated for visiting the Haute Loire, Canal du Centre with bridge over the Loire. 1 km to the town center. Also much used as a transit site, everything fits here!

"A good stopover for cyclists and canoeists - Ramp for boats right next to the campsite. The pitch is paved and shady. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation but well maintained. The staff are very friendly. It is a 5-minute walk to the town.

"Good transit point - Very friendly French-speaking staff. Baguette service. Campsite directly on the Loire. Dogs welcome. Behind the campsite is a large unused outdoor area for dogs with access to water.

"Great place for a stopover on the way through - We stayed here on the way home from vacation. Great location not far from the main road. The place is within walking distance e.g. for dinner etc., small pool - only usable for refreshment. Very friendly tenant couple. Bread for breakfast must be ordered in advance. Sanitary facilities old - but super clean.
