"Where the Doubs and Saone flow together - A good and inexpensive place as a stopover. Ideal for anglers. If nothing has been caught, the restaurant "le caveau" not far from the C. is a good option. It serves fish and other dishes.

"Nice place in Burgundy - Nice place, we were there in the low season. Therefore very quiet. Most people were there for fishing. Verdun quite a nice place, 2-3 minutes by bike to bakeries, stores etc. The site is large, lots of big trees. The first row on the Saonne was occupied by anglers. Sanitary was ok, with little activity. Supply on site with electricity and water o.k. Reception also speaks German, friendly.

"nice and friendly - I was there in May 2017. The operators - a young family - are really nice and helpful. The site offers huge pitches, the sanitary facilities are partly new, partly old but well maintained and functional. The town is about 500m away (it could be 700??) I liked it there and so did my companions!!!

"At the mouth of the Doubs - The site is beautifully laid out with lots of large trees. Directly adjacent to the site is the small swimming pool (low entrance fee), which is sufficient for children. The sanitary facilities are very simple but functional. The site is ideal for canoeing, motor boating and, above all, fishing.

"Verdun-sur-le-Doubs - Simple, tidy campsite, located by the river on the edge of the village. Very positive: larger communal tent with tables and benches and TV. Price per night: EUR 7.00 for one person with tent and bicycle.
