"Camping with club character, great aquapark! - We spent three weeks at the campsite in summer 2017 and weren't bored for a single day. The aqua park was THE highlight for our three children (but for us adults too!). You have to be aware that you pretty much have to self-cater here if you don't want to shell out 10 euros for a pizza from the snack bar. We had a barbecue on the pitch almost every day (gas barbecue allowed) and had a great time. The pitch was huge! Approx. 100 square meters - so that we were able to accommodate a caravan with awning and awning perfectly and still had enough space around it for bicycles, clothes horse and our car! The pitches are nicely bordered by hedges, so you have plenty of privacy. Electricity and water on site. The campsite was full - and of course you could tell. There was entertainment, there was action and of course it was loud. That didn't bother us - in the evening it was relatively quiet again and ultimately we wanted action and fun and games (for the children). In the evening there were always shows at the front of the bistro. It was a bit annoying that the campsite is not car-free. Everyone drove their car through the winding grounds to their pitch, which wasn't so nice. But there is simply nowhere to park centrally... It was great that you can rent a (large!) fridge for a very, very low price! However, you have to be aware that 98% of the guests here are French. Very few other nationalities (D, NL, GB). The entertainment and communication was also only in French. The area is very beautiful! The beaches are very extensive and great. The island of Noirmoutier is impressive with its "Gois" - a road that can only be traveled at low tide. Spectacular! We also recommend a visit to the "Puy du fou" park - a show park with historical spectacles. This is just over 1 hour away by car in the hinterland of the Vendee.
