"Clean simple place but not exactly cheap - The first time they were open the first day of the season and something was wrong with the water supply. We even got a discount for that. Reception and care was very friendly. However, the wash house was very disappointing. There were only three toilets, next to a cubicle with a washbasin and opposite three washbasins with only cold water. Everything was quite old but very clean. But for a 2-person overnight stay for 34 euros without extras such as electricity, I would have expected at least a slightly better wash house. The swimming pool looked quite good but wasn't open yet. It's more like a slightly larger pool under a tent roof. The catering facilities are also in a tent. There are about 16 pitches. The rest are mobile homes and two camping tents. Maybe I haven't gotten used to the new prices yet ... but in the main season at the seaside it will be more luxurious and cheaper for me this year ...

"A good starting point - We had actually headed for another campsite and decided on this one straight away by taking a wrong turn. During our stay, the sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained. The pool was also clean. The operators were very helpful and very friendly. Speaks English. We stayed 4 nights and can recommend this place. There is a small supermarket and a butcher in the village. We mostly bought our supplies at E-Leclerc or Carrefour (large supermarket chains). And of course at various markets. You can buy the essentials at reception. Lots of information material. You can also eat in a small restaurant on the campsite, but we didn't use this as we like to cook for ourselves.

Sylvie and David welcome you to Le Clos de Balleroy campsite, set in exceptional 1.7-hectare grounds on the edge of …Cerisy forest, for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature between the Normandy countryside and the coast. Ideally located between the sea and the countryside, 9.3 miles from Bayeux in Calvados, close to the D-Day beaches, 18.7 miles from Caen and only 1 hour 20 minutes from Mont Saint Michel, our campsite with indoor heated swimming pool welcomes you from April 1 to September 29 in a green and welcoming setting. Come and enjoy the tranquility of a warm and friendly atmosphere in our wooded park. For a tailor-made stay, choose from the different types of accommodation we offer: camping and caravan pitches, mobile home, bungalow and coco-sweet rentals; settle in to the accommodation of your choice!
