Description

Profile

This hidden campsite is located in the beautiful south of France, between the cities of Carcassonne and Mazamet, near the village of Brousses-et-Villaret. You are in the ‘Land of the Cathars’, a hilly region full of history, castles and picturesque …villages. There is an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of Le Martinet Rouge campsite. If you love peace, nature and a pleasant atmosphere, you will love camping here. All pitches are easily accessible and well maintained. You can enjoy privacy, surrounded by trees, tall hedges and other greenery. If you are looking for ready-made accommodation with a little more luxury, you are spoilt for choice: beautiful lodge tents, but also fully equipped mobile homes. It's easy to whittle away the hours by the lovely swimming pool just behind the bar. It's not very big, but it looks great. There's a circular slide for children, and the very youngest can cool off and have fun in the baby pool. The swimming pool is open from June and all campers can also use the hot tub. During the summer months, there is occasional live music on the terrace, combined with a delicious barbecue. After breakfast with fresh baguettes, children can play football or basketball on the sports field. There is also a nice playground with a slide and swings, where children and parents can meet. In the summer months, the entertainment team organises fun activities.
