"Aging square on the outskirts of Cordes-sur-Ciel - The site is located in a valley on the outskirts of Cordes-sur-Ciel between two roads, which are not particularly disruptive. The attractive site was built many years ago to a very high standard, but could do with a renovation here and there. The sanitary facilities are clean, but a little strange. It is requested that shoes are removed at the entrance, but I deliberately ignored this. I was also disturbed by the fact that there was nowhere to hang clothes, toiletry bags or the like. The walls of the washing cubicles were partly covered with a kind of plush carpet, which is certainly not easy to keep clean. The scullery is not for those with back problems - the porcelain sinks are so low that it is best to bring a chair to avoid pain. The lady at reception was extremely polite and didn't let anything put her off. She took the time to personally assign each guest to their pitch. It was fine for one night.
