"Site reservation not honored... - Having booked a mobile-home pitch 5 months previously, we were disappointed when, on arrival, our pitch was taken by other customers wishing to extend their stay (and although there were many pitches available on the campsite, vacated at the end of the season); when asked the reason for this change, we were given no excuse or word of complaisance that would have been appropriate in this situation. The manager gave us this explanation alone when we renewed our request a 2nd time (while extolling the virtues of the new pitch). We were very disappointed by this practice. It's worth noting that the owner of the campsite, who was originally on the phone, sounded very friendly, and we had no reason to complain - the campsite was quiet, environmental measures had been taken, and many other aspects met our expectations.
