"Beautiful place right on the lake - A tidy site that is very suitable for one or two nights. Right on the lakeshore with restaurant/bar, mini golf, trampoline and bouncy castle. Sanitary facilities rather old and basic but clean. Showers are great with good pressure. Don't forget toilet paper! Pitches are on a green meadow. Please note when approaching: the site is first marked with white signs, but then with yellow ones. If you are coming from the north, the first entrance is difficult to take (90 degree mini bend). Then it is best to drive on for 500m and take the access road coming from the south. At the traffic circle, take the first exit, then immediately turn right through a residential area.

"Quiet place in park-like grounds - For us an "overnight pitch", little occupied in September, pitches to choose from. Sunny and shady pitches are equally available. We only inspected the sanitary facilities superficially - due to the short stay - and they were fine. Some areas were already closed. The town is within walking distance (you walk through a park). There is a large restaurant near the square. In the old town there is something for the eyes and interesting restaurants (very well eaten, even if rather modest from the outside).

"Good basis - Beautifully located place in the city. Indoor swimming pool and bathing lake are very close. Large play park for children in the immediate vicinity, as well as a large park with many paths for cycling and jogging.

The quiet, green campsite Le Rochat Belle-Isle is located in a park-like setting on the banks of the Indre, where you can fish well. Nearby Châteauroux offers a range of facilities, so you won't miss them at the campsite itself. …At the reception you will receive a friendly welcome and information about the large, flat and demarcated pitches (80-130 m²) between the trees. You can also rent a static caravan. The campsite (2.5 ha) is often used as a transit campsite because it is conveniently located on an important arterial road on the way to the south. What makes the campsite attractive is that it is located both on a river and near a beautiful recreational lake. Visitors appreciate the campsite because of the beautiful pitches and because the recreational lake, the swimming pool and the keep-fit trail are within walking distance. The nearby Lac Belle-Isle leisure lake has a large sunbathing area, beach showers and play equipment. There is a designated area on the lake where children can swim safely. The restaurant on the waterfront, where the locals also like to eat, offers beautiful views. Visitors appreciate the dance evenings and performances that take place here regularly. The Balsan'éo wellness centre is located three kilometres from the campsite and is open every day until 7 p.m. The campsite offers free access to the wellness centre for one person per stay. You can purchase additional tickets at the campsite reception. The centre has a large competition pool, an outdoor pool, a paddling pool, a wellness area, massage showers, saunas, a solarium, a hammam and a herbal tea room.
