"A good offer with Campingcard - Although access to the campsite is signposted, it is a little awkward and is via dirt tracks and a road underpass, which is not passable with higher vehicles. You then have to take a small detour. The campsite is therefore relatively remote and isolated. However, the entrance to the campsite is very inviting (it looks like a higher category campsite). Unfortunately, this effect was not quite maintained. We were there in May and the men's toilets were locked, so the ladies' toilets were converted into unisex toilets. The showers were also combined for both sexes. Cost-cutting measures in the low season? The pitches are very shady. Little sun comes through. That's good in high summer. In the low season you would like a little more sun. The pitches are large and separated by small plants. Power supply on site, but no water. There is a small shop and a restaurant. Baguettes and croissants are also available from the shop for breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the food in the restaurant. We did our shopping in the town 2 km away. The campsite is quiet. Unfortunately, a sound system was tested in the restaurant on our first night. The leisure facilities on site: good for children. Including a nice swimming pool with slides and an enclosure with animals (including llamas, turtles...). Leisure facilities outside the campsite: a beautiful secluded sandy beach (15 min walk). Value for money: very good in the low season (with Campingcard only €13.30 for 2 people with caravan and electricity). Unfortunately very expensive without a Campingcard, even in the low season! The staff are friendly. But the reception was not always busy. The site and the sanitary facilities were generally clean. We would come back for a few days in the low season with a camping card.

"Nice place with a nice offer - We stayed at this campsite for a good few weeks in August 2018. We received a very warm welcome, the ladies spoke English and were very friendly and humorous - as were all the staff! Our pitch was big enough and clean. We were on pitch 615 near the small wash house. This has standing toilets and normal toilets, but without toilet seats. But you soon get used to that. It was cleaned 6 times a day. The floor was always a bit dirty, which is due to the dusty soil of the campsite. As soon as there is a drop of water on the floor, it naturally gets dirty. The showers were also good. There were two family showers in our wash house, but the other showers were also big enough for me to shower there with two children. The pool is always busy but not overcrowded. However, if you want a sun lounger, you should be at the pool right after the lunch break at 2.30 pm. In the afternoon, however, you will always get a sun lounger at some point. There is a simple pool where you can swim and a second pool area with slides, a children's pool and bubble loungers. The supermarket is small and stocks the essentials. However, the prices are steep. You have to pay €3.50 for a small packet of toast. But a baguette costs only €1, a croissant 80 cents. There is a small snack bar, which we used once. Not cheap either, but everything tasted good. We visited the restaurant once and were pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted delicious, was quick and was reasonably priced. There is a natural beach, which can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. This is also where the La Têt river flows right past the campsite (you can also fish there). We liked the beach at the mouth of the river because you are almost completely alone there. The sand is a bit coarse and the beach is not cleaned, but that didn't bother us. Otherwise there is a beach in each of the neighboring villages. However, these are very touristy. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the surroundings. But we didn't do too much either, it was a relaxing vacation. It's not far to Spain, by the way, where you can buy excellent and very cheap fish. In France, the prices for food are quite high and unfortunately the quality of the meat and fish didn't really convince us. But that has nothing to do with the campsite. There are Lidl, Intermarche, Casino and Carrefour nearby. Children won't get bored on the campsite either. There is a mini-farm with ponies, a pig and alpacas, mini golf, bouncy castles, trampoline, playground, table tennis, soccer, beach volleyball, a cross track for bicycles, fishing and of course boccia. There is also a mini club, which we didn't make use of, and evening entertainment - mostly live music. However, we only went a few times (foam party, night swimming, water ballet and karaoke). After midnight, the night's rest is consistently observed. Until then, depending on where you are, it can sometimes be louder. It was perfectly acceptable on our pitch, as it was a little further away from the pool and entertainment. All in all, it was a great vacation. We felt very comfortable on the pitch, everyone was very nice and friendly.
