"Welcome to Stalag - First of all, I'd just like to say that out of season the campsite was very, very quiet, with no entertainment, even though it says on their site "lively all year round". Barely thirty or so customers. But the reason I'm writing this today is that I've never seen such behavior in my life. There's already no welcome from the campsite staff, and you should know that you're parked with your blue plastic bracelet, which must be worn on your wrist, but it's not written anywhere. My sick wife couldn't keep this thing around her, so she put it on her bathing suit, which didn't go down well. We were called to order six times in three days. We were told that the bracelet was compulsory, even though she was wearing it, but not where they wanted her to. NO TOLERANCE! I remind you that there were thirty customers in the campsite and barely ten at the pool. The attendant must have been absent. We also had the misfortune during this reminder to point out that it was for our two-year-old twins that we had rented here, as the campsite supposedly had a pool "heated" to 28°c. I can assure you, LA, that this was a pure FRAUD. The pool was at 20°C, and our babies had a 38°C fever the next day. After a week, the pool was supposedly at 28 degrees, but that was the last time anyone saw it so hot. I think it's essential to specify that 28°c is the water temperature. I say this because it doesn't seem to be very clear to all the campsite staff. And to add insult to injury, on the day when the pool was at temperature, the protective dome had to be left open because of the excessive chlorine. We take our children out of the pool in the middle of a draught. Well done! And we can't give our opinion without being looked at sideways. And then LA, I'd like to mention the hammam, which was out of order for the first six days (but reopened after our request). I don't think the manager read the instructions, as it's common practice to provide users with a squeegee and/or disinfectant inside the hammam, but it's not compulsory, according to them. The rest of the aquatic center is in line with the brochure. A little dilapidated. But beware if you're going there with children: none of the staff are state-certified lifeguards. As for the children's facilities, they're in a sorry state. The photos used in the brochure are at least five years old. None of the slides are suitable for toddlers. It's nothing more than a wasteland where gantries have been set up, just like in a garden. The multi-sport field is missing planks all around. In short, a rip-off! As for the bungalow, it's still decent, but beware: the TV is a micro format, so you'll need binoculars or bionic eyes to be able to watch a film in its entirety.the bench seat has a habit of coming loose from the base, so there's a risk of children falling out. The curtains are stained and dirty, and there's hair stuck all over the mattress and pillows. So following our various comments, we asked the manager for explanations. For us, the heated swimming pool was a decisive factor in our choice of campsite, as were the outdoor games for children. Just to clarify, if you've ever stayed between Canet and Saint Cyprien, you'll know this manager. He's the biker who struts around on a Harley-Davidson with skull and crossbones painted on Teutonic crosses. Once again, he wasn't on site when we asked for information. We return to the mobile home. An hour and a half later, a Mercedes convertible pulls up in front of our pitch. We weren't fazed, and we stood up to him. He didn't even listen to us, because in this campsite, the customer has nothing to say, the manager is king and reigns like a despot over his employees and customers. No commercial sense, apart from being full of himself and acting in bad faith, that's all he is. But this kind of behavior is unacceptable, since when can a manager intimidate his customers. LAMENTABLE We're writing to you because several people have complained of itching after leaving the ?famous indoor swimming pool? and no one seems to be worried about children being endangered in this establishment.
