"You are very welcome to stay with Barbara (German speaking) and Jean-Pierre! - A real campsite with lots of tent pitches and modern accommodation. Above all, a very nice natural swimming area in the river with waterfall, a quiet location and many excursions possible. 20 modern mobile homes with 1, 2 or even 3 rooms, bar, restaurant open from June 23, 2018. see you soon!

"Nature and Hospitality in Le Ventadour - Le Ventadour is located in an exciting natural setting on the Ardeche. There is peace and quiet and during the summer season it is pleasant to be around the bar where all kinds of activities are organized. French fries, bitterballen and fricandells are also served especially for Dutch camping guests. There is a very extensive private beach where you can enjoy the sparkling water from your lounger and where children can also enjoy themselves in the various bays in the river bed. There are plenty of washrooms and dishwashing facilities scattered throughout the site so you really don't have to walk far. These areas are also very clean and well maintained. At the reception you can order baguettes for the next day and for more extensive shopping you can go to the nearby supermarkets. The campground managers Barbara and Jean-Pierre are extremely friendly and helpful. They know everything about the area and are very active themselves with all kinds of sports and games. Barbara speaks fluent Dutch, French, German and English. This campsite was a relief for us with the camper. What nature, what peace and what clean air. We never had to walk far to the sanitary facilities, so we hardly ever used our own camper facilities. Highly recommended for families who appreciate alternating rest, entertainment and natural beauty.

"Lovely relaxing campsite - We enjoyed our vacation in 2014. the weather was good, you could cool off in the little river near the campsite. For the dog there was also a good place to cool off in the little river. Also, Barbara was like a tourist office: she could tell you everything you could do in the area, really top! We will definitely come back.

Welcome to our 3-star campsite in the Ardèche, where you can relax and explore in a natural setting that allows you to get to know the Ardèche. Your feet will be relieved by the water. Our campsite on the banks …of the Ardèche river offers you direct access to one of the most beautiful developed beaches in the region. You can swim in natural pools and enjoy water games for young and old. The waterfall between the two pools is an activity for everyone, regardless of age! Dog lovers are welcome at the campsite, but dogs are not allowed in our bathing area. However, a beautiful swimming spot awaits you 150 metres upstream from the campsite, as well as on the many hiking trails from the campsite. For fans of traditional camping, our Le Ventadour campsite offers spacious pitches, which are of course demarcated and can be shady, semi-shady or sunny, depending on your preference. Our campsite in Meyras also offers a boules court, a volleyball court, table tennis tables... and children's games for children aged 2 to 12. You also have the opportunity to take part in some activities (bowling tournaments, music evenings or karaoke are offered). It is the perfect place for families with children, sports fans, nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts. Bikes can be rented and lovely circuits are possible. There are three well-maintained sanitary facilities on the premises, one of which can be heated in spring. The campsite's location on the banks of the Ardèche offers you plenty of time to enjoy the numerous activities available to you (hiking, mountain biking, cycling, canoeing in the Ardèche Gorges, canyoning, adventure trail in Jaujac, via ferrata in Thueyts) or just to soak up a dreamlike setting where sun and nature come together. The restaurant offers you a more relaxed experience and allows you to have a quicker meal, including a pizza service. Finally, the bar offers you the opportunity to quench your thirst or to refresh yourself with an ice cream in the afternoon. Bakery in the morning if ordered in advance.
