"Very nice camping - Very nice campsite, everything is super clean - heated showers and toilets - and the owners are nice and hospitable. You can bike and hike well, lots of info in the free camping app. Maintenance of the grounds you don't often see that neat. Chapeau for all staff and owners!

"Be warned - First day of our extended weekend started nicely. However, on day 2, in the morning our electrical fuse jumped. Since the reception would not be open until 10am, we waited and then went to hear to get the power back on. However, we were then told not to heat our caravan on the electric as there is only 6Amp. After this incident I want to make coffee in the afternoon and the fuse blows again, went back to ring the bell (reception only open from 10 to 11am??) was put back on, with the message that we should still use less. When I said something about this on social media, the manager stormed in furiously, we thought what now? He pulled the power from our caravan and told us to fuck off. Because that we put them in a bad light by our mention on social media. I paid 125 euros for 5 nights, so asked for a refund for the remaining 4 nights, this was refused and we tering sufferers had to get out of there as soon as possible. One thing is certain for us, complaint we are going to put down and if they continue like this this campground will not exist for long or there will only be dry stools dancing to the arrows of the owners.

"MH - It is a fantastic campsite, quiet, beautifully maintained, large pitches, heated pool, playground and friendly managers. We had a great time cycling via ravel to the F1 circuit Spa-Francorchamps and to the waterfalls of Coo and hiking around the campground next to the river. Which was very beautiful. In the evening we ate the dish of the day in the canteen namely fries with vidé. It tasted very good. A campsite to come back to.

"Very nice place - We've booked this place twice now for a long weekend and a visit to the Spa racetrack. It's not huge, but it has a pool, restaurant and is right next to the Eau Rouge. The sanitary facilities are not modern, very basic but clean. The approach is hilly and in a rural location; accordingly, it is also quiet. Also a great location for hiking. We will definitely be back We liked it very much.

"Very good option for a stopover - We stopped for a night on the way to the Netherlands and were very pleasantly surprised. Small pool which was a welcome surprise after a long drive. Great playground for children. Very spacious pitch covered with grass. Clean toilet block (we didn't use the "big" toilet block at the front of the site). Small restaurant with food for the small appetite Direct location to the F1 circuit of Spa-Francochamps. Directions: Approx. 5 km from the highway. From a country road, turn right into a narrow, steeply sloping forest path. Keep an eye out for oncoming traffic and if so, wait at the top, otherwise it will be tight. After 300 m there is a narrow bridge, which you can also cross with a 2.5 m wide camper van.

"Very nice place - Very nice operators who go to great lengths. Large pitches with lots of play facilities for children. Very clean sanitary facilities.

Profile

Attracively, levely site close to Spa and Grand Prix circuit. In a sheltered valley location, this populair site has a fair number of permanent units but there is usually space for tourists. The main building houses the busy reception, cafè, …bar and the main sanitary facilities. A smaller sanitary unit serves the touring area. These provide good number of Britische WC’s mostly open washbasins, but rather fewer hot shower non payment. Hot water is also non payment for diswashing and laundry. There are 140 grassy pitches of 100 sq.m. on sloping grond either side of a central road with speed bumps. Baker calls at 8.30 am daily in season. Ther are plenty of sporting activities in high season. The site is close to the motor race circuit at Spa-Francorchamps ans is within walking distance for the fit.

Route to Camping Eau Rouge Do not rely on GPS or SATNav systems, as you exit the E42, switch your system off. From the E40 direction Aachen/Verviers, at Verviers junction take the exit Verviers / Saarbruken (E42), after about 40km …take exit 11 direction Malmedy and NOT exit 10 as exit 10 goes directly to the Spa Francorchamps circuit.
