"Great location - This place is beautifully situated in the valley, Saint Pons de Thomieres is very easy to reach by bike, even for children and non-e-bike riders. Friendly staff at the reception. Sanitary building is good. Despite the road leading past the campsite, it is very quiet. It really is a very, very nice location!!!

"A little out of the way, very quiet - We wanted to get to know the rail trail from Mazamet to Bedarieux. This site seemed conveniently located and quite well equipped, which proved to be the case. The reception didn't open until 4pm, but a friendly member of staff showed us to a pitch with private sanitary facilities beforehand, so we were able to settle in before registering. We then registered with another very friendly lady, who immediately offered us bread service for 8 a.m., which was very unusual for this time of year (mid-April), especially as we were almost the only guests on the site. Pain, pain complet and croissants turned out to be delicious the next morning. We could even have ordered snacks in the evening, but we didn't. I can't say anything about the sanitary facilities, we didn't use them. The same applies to the pool, which was ready for use. The site slopes down to the river, the pitches are terraced, but still mostly have a slight incline. There is a kind of one-way street regulation on the site, which is best observed with a camper van, otherwise it can get a little tight in some corners. Shopping and refueling can be done in the neighboring village of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières. The location is very beautiful with the mountains all around, the mobile phone reception is first class, the radio mast is also within sight up on a mountain. Overall, we liked the site very much for our requirements.

"Insider tip a little off the beaten track - We refer to the statement of the previous writer. We also came across this place by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. The location, just outside the village center, is ideal. You can hear the road during the day, but it is not disturbing as the traffic is limited. It is absolutely quiet at night. Also worth mentioning is the "small sandy beach" by the river and the always friendly staff.

"Very well-kept pitch with top equipment - We ended up at this campsite by chance and somewhat out of necessity, as the campsites by the sea didn't appeal to us at all. We were extremely pleasantly surprised. A great place where everything was just right for us. We were particularly impressed by the private sanitary facilities directly on the pitch (19 pitches out of a total of 99 are equipped in this way). Very nice operator couple.
