Description

Profile

In the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, just a stone's throw from the Puys chain and the spa resort of Vichy, discover our campsite Paradis Les Chanterelles in Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle, the ‘world capital of toffee wick cork’. Nature lovers and friends …of wide open spaces, we await you in the Puy-de-Dôme region! You can camp here on a sunny and beautifully landscaped site (partly terraces) by an open lake with a sandy beach. The water is large enough for countless boats. But of course you can also swim here! There is even more water fun in the campsite swimming pool. The four-hectare campsite consists of flat terrain and a slightly sloping terrain with terraces. The view of the lake is good everywhere and all pitches are within walking distance of the water. There is plenty of space for the 140 pitches for camper vans (100-120 m²). These pitches have a nice grassy area, are more or less demarcated and are fully or partially shaded by tall trees. There are five pitches for motorhomes and 14 cabin tents or bungalows for rent. The swimming pool consists of two basins and two long slides. It is originally and safely constructed on a pontoon that is connected to the shore. The overall impression is very attractive. The lake is easily accessible from various corners of the campsite via a footpath. In addition to swimming, it is a great place for boating, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. You can buy only the essentials at the campsite, but there is a bread delivery service in the morning. The campsite itself has no dining options, so head to the pizzeria in the village of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle for a tasty Italian meal. There are several restaurants in the towns around the lake. Dogs and cats are welcome in our accommodation and on our pitches.
