"Secluded campsite with good restaurant - The campsite is secured by a gate. You can only get in with a code. We were almost the only guests in September 2021. So it was very quiet. Wonderful surroundings. There is a retirement home next door, but it doesn't bother us. The village of Fontes is about 500 m away. It is very tranquil. I was surprised by the inexpensive but good restaurant. The menu is simple but really tasty. The house wine comes from the cooperative in Fontes, which you shouldn't miss out on. We love campsites with simple but clean facilities, no frills and lots of peace and quiet. This is true of this campsite - at least in the low season. The pitches in the upper part of the campsite, separated by hedges and trees, are narrow (small turning radii) and can hardly be managed with large vehicles.

"Beautifully situated, quiet campsite with good pitches - We stayed here for one night while passing through. The operators are very friendly and only speak English apart from French. Some of the pitches are very large and new. The sanitary facilities are clean but basic. The toilets have no paper or toilet seats - just French. It is absolutely quiet during the day and at night, at least in March. The price-performance ratio is very good.
