"Susanne and Walter K - We used to have a seasonal pitch here for a few years, but now we wanted to visit it again. The site is still recommended. The prices are very good, the site is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. We would love to come back for a short vacation and nice bike tours.

"Nice quiet place - We were with 2 vehicles from 18.6.-18.6.17 on the place 253 + 252. The pitches are already very large. The site is very quiet. There is a Sparladen in the village, the way can be done on foot. The site is located directly behind the dyke. There are also small sandy beaches on the Oosterschelde. You need a vehicle to get to the North Sea beaches. The sanitary facilities were very clean and modern. 5 min showers cost €0.50. There are 35 tourist pitches on the right-hand side of the site. We can recommend the site. Wemeldinge is not the center of the world.

" - The site is very well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The palt is right on the water. Ideal for relaxing. Unfortunately there is NO other entertainment possible. No strolling or going out possible. NO stores in the vicinity.

" - We were there for a weekend in July 2013. The site is divided into two zones. The upper part (by the reception) houses the rental accommodation and a few tourist pitches, as well as a snack bar with outdoor seating. The sanitary facilities in this part are much better than in the lower part (the two parts are separated by bushes and a road) and are newer but not cleaner. There is also a small corner store next to the reception that sells rolls, bread and croissants. The lower part (a few minutes' walk to the beach) is very quiet and also has a toilet block, which was unfortunately always dirty. No matter what time we went there this weekend, there was never a clean toilet or shower to be found. In the village of Wemeldinge there is a Spar market which offers quite a large selection and has reasonable prices. You can also buy postcards and stamps there. The restaurant on the corner when you drive into the village from the campsite is great and offers delicious waffles and ice cream. All in all, sufficient for a weekend if you decide to drive 300km to the sea on Friday night :) I can't recommend the site for a longer stay, there are nicer ones in Holland and in the immediate vicinity, even if 18Euro was a bargain in the high season. There was a bouncy castle and some play equipment for children. The pitches themselves are flat, very sunny, on grass and not parceled out.
