"Well.... - In 2023, we were still able to enjoy the peace and seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city, had enough space and a good distance to other campers. This year, everyone was squeezed together, no one showed any consideration for their neighbors, dogs were constantly running free in front of our caravan and there was no peace and quiet at night. As the alcohol consumption increased, the level dropped, including loud burping. We will not be staying here again.

"Beautiful spot on earth - I am a permanent camper and always enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. The animals in the forest make the whole thing idyllic.

"Disappointed - Unfortunately, it was different this time. Almost all my friends and acquaintances were gone. Later I found out that my friends and acquaintances had to leave because of the new owner. They were probably in the way of his new plans

"In need of improvement - We were there over the weekend. The location is great and quiet. We also had plenty of space with our caravan. There is a playground but it is too difficult for smaller children. But our children still had fun. It is somehow stuck in the GDR era. Lots of permanent campers and little interest in doing anything with the site. The sanitary facilities are a disaster. Probably not cleaned regularly. There was also no residual waste container. Stupid if you want to dispose of diapers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Ostalgie in its purest form

"Difficult ;-) - I spent a few days here with my children. The site was ideal for them - close to nature, playground within sight. You can also get to Leipzig very quickly by car. I actually like such simple places, but the sanitary facilities are absolutely out of date, and at the time of our stay they were also partly open to the public due to an event on site (which is not necessarily conducive to cleanliness). I attribute the somewhat chaotic "check in" on our arrival to the aforementioned event - contact with the operator was otherwise nice and friendly. To summarize: if this place had a modern sanitary building it would be top - then I would also be happy to pay a little more in fees - currently the price / performance ratio (despite the low fee) is unfortunately not right.

Nächster Ort ist Machern der auch auf einem Waldweg zu Fuß oder Fahrrad erreichbar ist (ca 2km) mit guten Einkaufs - möglichkeiten und S - Bahnhaltestelle , Bahn fährt stündlich nach Leipzig ; Fahrzeit 20 min , Preis pro Ew. z. Zeit 3,60 €
