"Beautiful days on the Main - Big and small river pirates will feel at home here. Also cyclists and archery enthusiasts. Groundsman Uwe has his heart in the right place, addresses things as they are. The Netto supermarket is less than 5 minutes' walk away. The large beer garden is open from Fri-Sun. The 1/2 Hendls can only be recommended. Attention: clearance height to the CP max. 2.80 m. For higher vehicles contact the groundsman beforehand (side entrance).

"Rating - It was the 3rd time in a row that we stayed at this beautiful, small and clean campsite - big praise and thanks to the very nice and helpful groundsman Uwe. We will definitely be back. Simply great for 3D archers, as there are 9 archery courses within a radius of 50 km - SUPER !!!

"Very good starting point for bike tours - The best thing first: the site is very tidy, so we certainly weren't there for the last time. Unfortunately, there was hardly any view of the Main, not even on foot, as the entire bank was literally barricaded by pitches/permanent campers. We would have liked to sit on a bench and watch the boat traffic. The description "waste water on the pitch" did not apply to our pitch at least - the dedicated groundsman spent quite a long time looking for it (in vain!). Unfortunately, he also led us to believe that the 10A connection mentioned in the price list was actually a 16A connection. So we wouldn't have had to disconnect everything else when we had an electric barbecue... The promised WLAN was not available due to a router fault (lightning strike). We had already heard this explanation several times on CP. All in all: I recommend the site. However, if you attach great importance to certain pitch comfort or are dependent on it, it is best to ask specifically beforehand

"Great place - A very well-kept site right on the Main. All facilities in very good condition. Sanitary facilities very clean. Generously sized pitches. Fresh water, waste water and electricity available. Swimming in the river. Bakery and discount store nearby. Very friendly and helpful groundsman. Delicious restaurant.
