"Generous space - First of all: The campsite is registered at Camping.Info as "Karsten Fischer". Although this is the owner, the correct name of the campsite is Nature-Camping "Máré-Vára" Camping.Info should change this as soon as possible. The site is located near the village of Magyaregregy [approx. 30 km north of Pecs] Spacious site: well-kept large meadow with many trees, therefore relatively much shade, but also sunny spots. Swimming pool. Washing machine and dryer. Scullery with microwave, oven, fridge and freezer. Bar with beer garden, TV and service. Decent WLAN and Internet. The German operator - Karsten - takes great care of his guests. The Camping.Info GPS coordinates are correct.

"Beautiful campsite and very friendly owners - This quiet campsite, definitely recommended for people with younger children. In addition, the sanitary facilities are very clean and modern and the people are very friendly. Beautiful (free to choose) places and enough recreational opportunities nearby to enjoy your vacation in a very pleasant way. Really highly recommended.

"Best in Hungary - Far more the best site we have been during our roundtrip in western Hungary. It was the first camping where we stayed more than one night because all of us wanted to rest there. Definitely suggest to everyone especially for those who wanted comfort on the road.

"Beautiful place on the edge of the Mecsek Nature Park - Simple but beautiful site on the edge of the Mescek Nature Park. Everything you need as a camper is available, everything is very clean and the prices are reasonable. Coffee, drinks and ice cream are offered in a small bakery on the site. A bread roll service is also available. There is a public swimming pool and restaurant right next to the campsite. There is a small supermarket in the village about 1.5 km away. The usual discount stores are also not far away. The campsite is located right on the edge of the forest and is a perfect starting point for hikes through the fantastic forest, which is pleasantly cool in summer. Other sights such as the towns of Pécs and Baja, Lake Orfü, the Hábi-Patak lake district and the Magyarhertelend thermal baths are in the immediate vicinity. If you like to be away from the tourist crowds and are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. We give it full marks, we will definitely be back!

In untouched elemental nature people will find with us an unforgettable place of idyll and satisfaction. Time to live, to let go and to …find harmony. At the foot of the beautiful nature and hiking paradise Mecsek is our small family campsite. For a close to nature experience you will find neither classic camping plots, much artificial light, or fortified paths. But therefore fantastic places for campers, caravans, or tents: - embedded in meadows and forests - with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere - with sunsets and campfire evenings
