"Simple space - As we were on the site in the off-season from October 4-10, we had a pitch right on the banks of the Rhine. There were only a few pitches occupied. We noticed that two campers only stayed one night because they were not satisfied with the sanitary facilities or the lack of WiFi. Out of 7 washbasins, 4 were closed due to defects. Of the 6 toilets available, 3 were blocked. I wonder how that worked in the high season. Urgent action is needed here. Otherwise there were many opportunities to visit the castles on the Rhine, the proximity to Bingen and Rüdesheim or to cycle along the Rhine. We also loved the ships that were constantly passing by, You can watch them for hours.

"Beautiful, but .... - We were on the pitch in September 2020. Even though the campsite was full, we were accommodated, which is not a matter of course. Thank you once again. The access road is hardly feasible for large caravans (2.50 m and over 8.00 m long). You should have good driving skills. The sanitary facilities and the washing-up areas are definitely in need of renovation and do not meet modern standards. We don't want a wash temple or anything like that, but something more modern would be nice. There are also washing containers, and if you pay €2.00 more and get better washing and rinsing facilities in return? OK. Otherwise a very simple pitch. W-LAN not available. The traffic (train and road are audible, but not disturbing. Where should the sales go? Otherwise location top. Bike away directly from the square and everything easily accessible. We have not tested the restaurant. Shopping in about 5.00 km.

"A place directly on the Rhine - The location of the site is of course very good, directly on the Rhine. Access for larger caravans and motorhomes is a challenge, not possible from a height of 3.2m! As there is no parcelling out, tourists are set up according to the "oil sardine principle". It sometimes happens that the neighbor knocks on the car with his outdoor furniture, his dog makes himself comfortable under someone else's car, etc. I had more concerns about the sanitary situation in terms of viruses and bacteria than about corona.

"Great campsite to explore the area - The location of the campsite is very nice, right on the Rhine. With a bit of luck, you can get a pitch in the first Rhine location. However, you do have to get up close and personal with your neighbor. When we were there in mid-September, the camper vans and caravans were packed together. Unfortunately, we had no luck and had to move to the neighboring tent meadow. Electricity was only provisionally provided here, which meant that we were without power at one point. The tent meadow filled up more and more over the course of the weekend. A really relaxing and restful place looks different. But as we came without booking in advance and only stayed for one weekend anyway, that wasn't a problem. The showers, on the other hand, dear owners are really in need of renovation. Very dated and it wasn't really clean either. For the showers you need 1€ coins, but the machine is a bit picky.

"Great location, nice operator - The location is really nice. If you have a place in the front row, you can watch the ships in complete relaxation. On the first night we were still in the second row, but were allowed to change as soon as something became free at the front. The boss himself gave us a very warm welcome and showed us the ropes. The price-performance ratio is excellent - €20 for everything - 8.30m Wowa, two adults, two dogs free of charge, and that in high season. The food in the restaurant was good and also available to take away, the staff were very friendly. You can take the dogs for a great walk along the Rhine. Just getting there was a challenge with our long horse and cart. You just have to hope that there is no oncoming traffic and that you can make a good turn when exiting an underpass.

Unser Campingplatz liegt direkt am Rhein, am Fusse der Burg Reichenstein. In dem schönen Mittelrheintal das seit Juni 2002 in die Liste des Weltkulturerbes der UNESCO aufgenommen wurde. Fahrrad fahren, Wandern, Angeln, Jetski, Kajak auch ein Bootslip (Bootsrutsche) für das …Wassern von kleineren Sportboote, sowie Klettern durch das Morgenbachtal ist direkt von unserem Campingplatz aus möglich. Nicht weit entfernt ca 1 km ist ein wunderschöner Sandstrand mit Bademöglichkeit im Rhein. Auch die Anlegestellen der Schiffe befinden sich in ca 1 km.
