"A TRANQUILIDADE - O melhor local desde á 9 anos para passar umas férias tranquilas. Sempre que posso vou lá durante o ano em busca da calma e da tranquilidade. Toda a zona envolvente do Markádia é mágica. A água da barragem, a vista, o estar longe da confusão, o distanciamento obrigatório entre tendas ou caravanas. Não consigo descrever o acordar no Markádia...

"Melhor camping de sempre - O Markádia Camping é simplesmente o melhor camping para nós de sempre. A equipa é 5*, o parque e as instalaões são limpissimos. Acampar mesmo ao lado de um lago é o máximo. Nós e o nosso cão adoramos e vamos voltar com certeza em breve! Obrigada por tudo!

"Campingplatz in Traumlage über einem Stausee. Natur pur. Freundliche Leitung - Wir waren im März 2017 auf dem CP. Trotz der frühen Jahreszeit waren doch mehr als ein Dutzend Camper da. Der Platz liegt über einem Stausee in einer wirklich schönen Landschaft. Das Gelände ist sehr weitläufig mit vielen Stellplätzen. Insgesamt gibt es sechs Sanitärblocks auf dem Gelände. Sie sind alle schon in die Jahre gekommen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war nur ein Sanitärgebäude frei gegeben. Die Sanitäranlagen sind geräumig gestaltet. Wie schon in der Bewertung von 2013 festgestellt, wäre eine Überholung der Anlagen wünschenswert (deshalb nur 4 Sterne beim Gesamteindruck!). Die Einrichtungen - Duschen, Handwaschbecken, WC - haben gut funktioniert. Warmes Duschwasser gab es nach angemessener Wartezeit. An den Spülbecken hätte das Wasser durchaus besser temperiert sein können. Stromanschlüsse sind ausreichend auf dem gesamten Gelände verteilt. Die Wasserversorgung ist etwas sparsamer. Die Stellplätze sind nicht abgetrennt. Teilweise sind durch Terrassierungen klare Stellplatzabtrennungen vorgegeben, im übrigen gilt auf dem Gelände die Vorschrift 10 m Mindestabstand zum Nachbarn, was gut eingehalten werden könnte. Kaninchen sind in großer Zahl zuhause und sind am Stellplatz eine lustige Abwechslung. Während unseres Aufenthalts konnten nur wenige Artikel der Grundversorgung und Brot auf Bestellung auf dem Platz bezogen werden. Die nächsten (kleinen) Ortschaften sind einige Kilometer entfernt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Parklandschaft mit Weideflächen und Korkeichen, Wildoliven und Steineichen mit reicher Flora und Fauna. Wir sind hier gerne länger als geplant geblieben und haben Platz und Umgebung wirklich genossen.

" - Herrliche Lage an einem großen Stausee, Stellplätze mit Blick auf das Wasser, in Portugal sehr selten. Einsame und ruhige Lage, vor allem in der Vorsaison. Die Sanitäranlagen könnten besser sein, sind aber durchaus akzeptabel. Schade, das sie wohl niemals renoviert wurden. Beeindruckend: die Anfahrt über die hohe Staumauer!
