"Premium view of the Kiel Fjord - There are places on the dam with a really great view of the fjord. A must for anyone who loves water and ships. But you have to book in advance. Otherwise you camp "down below" and can't see any water.

"Pure relaxation without boredom - We had booked a dyke pitch for a week and had a fantastic and completely relaxed experience. Ships sailing in and out of the fjord, sailing boats without end and everything from the front row almost to touch. The operator couple and their staff were always in a good mood. It's the togetherness that sets the tone. It was a shame that the week was over so quickly. We can only recommend the place and will be back ourselves.

"Pitches on the meadow too small - We came to this campsite on a recommendation and therefore didn't look at the site beforehand. The pitches on the dyke were okay in terms of size, but the pitches on the meadow were definitely too small with a caravan, awning and vehicle parked right in front of it. There was also no possibility to park the vehicle in front of the pitch. There was not much sign of the friendliness of the site operators that is so often mentioned here, although to be fair it has to be said that the site was already well frequented and many campers were only there for one or two days. The sanitary facilities were very well maintained, perhaps a little dark. Despite the actual ban on dogs, there were a few dogs on the site and at least one dog was not from permanent campers. This site is no longer an option for us.

"Short vacation campsite Möltenort - We spent a short vacation at the campsite from 26.06.2018 - 29.06.2018 and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent location we had a pitch on the upper area and had a very nice view of the water with the bicycles we brought with us we could make very nice trips highly recommended next time longer

"Great place to watch ships - Good location near Heikendorf, Kiel can also be reached by bike. Steep, long, single-lane access road, hardly any alternative routes. No stopping in front of the gate, the police regularly collect parking tickets here. Use the parking bay in the hard shoulder in front of the gate; this should be indicated on the homepage. Pitches on the embankment (for an extra charge, which is worthwhile) have a unique view of the fjord. However, no free choice of pitch. You are not asked where you want to stand. Seats are allocated and you have to stand almost exactly where the operators want you to stand, under supervision. Sometimes too close together, even if there are still plenty of free seats. This is incomprehensible and is not explained. The sanitary facilities (don't forget your chip) are very old, poorly heated, dark, but clean and hygienically impeccable! To shower, insert your chip in the corridor, then sprint to your cabin. Overall a nice place to watch the ship, but communication by the operators and atmosphere (information and prohibition signs) could be improved.

"We will be back! - Unfortunately we could only stay for a few days, but the site is very nice, a great location right on the fjord with a wonderful view of everything that is happening on the water. The site is very well maintained and the facilities are clean. The owner family Rohde and the staff were nice, pleasant to deal with and always helpful - we felt very well looked after.

Der Campingplatz liegt direkt an Schleswig-Holsteins Ostseeküste, direkt an der Kieler Förde. Der Platz bietet in einmaliger Lage erholsame Ferien. An der Kieler Innenförde gelegen, finden sie den Campingplatz. Genießen sie die Aussicht auf die vorbei ziehende Großschifffahrt,die Segelyachten, Kreuzfahrtschiffe …und Fischkutter. Sie campen direkt am Meer und sind dennoch durch ein ansteigendes Waldgelände vor Wind und Wetter geschützt.
