"Very nice location on the lake - Very nicely located CP on Lake Lugano. The staff are very friendly and provide important information as soon as you check in. The pitches are slightly sloping towards the lake, but pose no problem when pitching. Unfortunately, the grass has been completely removed from some of the pitches, making it a rather muddy affair when it rained heavily several times. Some gravel on these areas would be good. The cleanliness of the pitches is very good. In my opinion, the washing facilities are not at all good. A "washing trough" for women and men reminds me of conditions in the seventies of the last century. When I had a health problem, I was looked after very carefully. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved.

"Mr. - nice place, cheap and friendly staff. but noisy because of the highway. we would come back the next time we are passing through to Italy. for a. vacation on Lake Lugano I would look for a quieter place

"Top place - A simple site with a very good infrastructure. Sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. We will be back again. A place that has kept its feet on the ground even in the tourist stronghold of Ticino. Thank you!

"Fall vacation - Very friendly reception, the reservation via the Internet also worked well, was able to change places on site without any problems, as there was also a dog right next door that didn't get along. Thanks to the "TicinoCart" there is the possibility of unlimited travel by public transport, so that you can also cover longer distances to good restaurants. From our point of view, this is an absolutely recommendable place, even if it is in the upper price segment.

Profile

The camping site is situated within a 20,000 m² natural park, by Lake of Lugano in the town of Melano. It is situated barely 10 km south of Lugano, just 20 km from Como. It has 150 pitches and there …are also caravans for rent. A small grocery store, a bar and during the high season a small restaurant are on site. There is free WLAN internet access. Life in the campsite takes place mainly on the beach. Pedal-boats, canoes and motor boats are available for rent.
