"could be nicer - The pitches could be filled with sand or gravel again. Size Okay The barbecue area is very decoratively surrounded by garbage containers, visually, as odorless ill-considered All in all a very good opportunity to explore Munich and the surrounding area

"Great place to explore Munich - I was used to camping from my childhood over 50 years ago until about 20 years ago, back then the pitches were easier than they are today, maybe that's why my rating is so good, it seems that people want more comfort today.

"Not very nice - The connection to public transportation is good and the receptionist was very friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are in such a deplorable state that even a thorough cleaning would not help. Despite the beautiful weather, the place created a depressing atmosphere for us.

"Forget it - I wrote 5 times to no one interested in me. Sanitary facilities have it behind them!!!! No one knows anything at the info it seems chos and ignorance as well as uncleanliness is the issue!!!! Better not.

"Well... - The place seems a bit gloomy, not only because of the forest location, but also because of the atmosphere. Even though the staff at the registration desk are very friendly, it's not really clear where the comparatively generous amount of money requested goes. Much has already been written here about the state of the sanitary facilities. Little of it is exaggerated. Cleaning is done daily and thoroughly, but in a city like Munich this is not a flagship. At the time of my stay, the left half of the square was closed to the general public, as a kind of tent city for international Wiesn visitors had been set up here. To be honest, I didn't dare go into the snack bar. There are a lot of people living on the square who are financially overstretched by the Munich real estate market and that's how the whole thing looks. Nevertheless - for my personal needs, the square is perfectly adequate and I'll be back here again if necessary. The alternatives available in the city are more expensive at best anyway, but hardly better.

"Bad - Anyone who has been to this site can easily judge how the beautiful pictures on the website can disguise the true condition. The pitches in the area where we were are ok, but extremely narrow. With caravans 2.5 meters wide, you can barely get the door open. So much for the "good". Now for the unappetizing part: the sanitary facilities. To make a long story short - shit holes. Run-down containers. Either totally filthy with motion detectors for the light in the anteroom (so when the light has gone out, you have to go into the anteroom with your pants down to get the light on for the next switching phase) or with proper light, but only one roll of paper hanging in the slope, there is no paper in the individual toilets. If you haven't taken enough with you ... see above on the subject of light. I was lucky enough to be the first user after the cleaning. Well, I had to clean again because the wobbly toilet seat was covered in blue cleaning agent. Consequence: one visit here was enough. I'd rather spend the night at the rest area between trucks with comfortable sanifair toilets. You are happy to invest the 70 cents there

Im Münchener Stadtteil Obermenzing befindet sich der gleichnamige Campingplatz inmitten eines großen Parkgeländes. Das Stadtzentrum und das Oktoberfest liegen acht Kilometer entfernt und sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Es herrscht überwiegend Durchgangsverkehr, daher können und müssen Camper ihren Platz …nicht reservieren. Für Durchreisende ist der Campingplatz während der Wintermonate geschlossen, längere Aufenthalte sind in dieser Zeit eventuell nach Absprache möglich. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, Wohnmobile und Mobilheime zu mieten. Monatspauschalen müssen vorab mit den Betreibern vereinbart werden. Während des Oktoberfestes wird ein Zuschlag berechnet. Auf dem Gelände sind 178 Stromanschlüsse vorhanden. Die Stellplätze sind durch Hecken voneinander abgegrenzt. Eine Ver- und Entsorgungsstation für Wohnmobile steht zur Verfügung. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen wurden 2013 vollständig saniert und sind mit Einzelduschkabinen ausgestattet. Es gibt Kochmöglichkeiten, Spülbecken, eine Waschmaschine und einen Wäschetrockner. Ferner finden sich ein Aufenthaltsraum sowie ein kleiner Laden auf dem Campingplatz. Zur näheren Umgebung gehören die drei Seen der Langweiler Seenplatte sowie ein Golfplatz.
