"Good stopover - ...on the way to the Atlantic. Small pizzeria in the village, within walking distance. Reception man très gentile! Popular for hot air balloon rides. Naturelle, facile+calme- merci!!!

"Castles of the Loire by bicycle - Great place to visit the castles on the Loire River by bike. By the bike path, by the river ( unfortunately you can not swim). Large,shady area slightly undulating , no designated camping spots. In the morning the baker sells baguettes and croissants.Overnight in a tent , 2 people + car = about 11 euros.

"Unconventional, beautiful location, really cheap - A beautiful site, without pitches, directly on the Loire. Due to the size and the free choice of pitches, you can always find a place. We were there at the beginning of August 2017 and even had a view of the Loire. Showers and toilets in three places, which were cleaned regularly. Free WiFi throughout the site after registering at reception. In the morning a car came from which baked goods were sold (baguette was delicious, the sweet pastries too). Opposite the Loire runs the road, perceptible during the day, few trucks, at night almost no traffic. It didn't bother us, just as little as the train, which came rarely and was audible, but not disturbing. I was much more annoyed by the pigeons 🙄 The best thing is the price, just 12 euros for two people with electricity, which is great for the location and service. Be sure to visit the gardens at the castle, really great. And I'm not normally a garden nerd! You can save yourself the castle. There is also an entrance with parking spaces at the top.

"Spacious campsite on the Loire - Beautiful large pitch on the banks of the Loire. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. Road and train within earshot, but bearable. Loire cycle path adjacent. WIFI free of charge. Bakery car in the morning, otherwise restaurants within walking distance. Typical municipal with very good price/performance ratio. We felt very comfortable.

"Simple but nice place on the Loire - Ideal starting point for visiting numerous famous castles (one directly in the village). Morning bread roll service (baguette ...) from the car trunk. Da Vinci Park in nearby Amboise.

" - Beautiful place directly on the Loire, ideal starting point for castle tours (within walking distance to Chaumont and the garden festival, about 20 km to Amboise, Blois, Cheverny), located on the Loire cycle path. Very cheap, 2 pers, caravan, car, El only 11,40€ in 2014. Free WiFi near reception. Sanitary clean and enough, sometimes a bit draughty cool. Bakery on foot, supermarket in Onzain, 2km.
