Der Jacobsweg führt durch Belcastel und so beginnt für viele Pilger ein langer Fussmarsch. Für Campingfreunde mit Caravan benötigt man einen hauch von Luxus, Stromanschlüsse, Wasser und freundliche Gastgeber. Der Campingplatz ist zu Fuße der historischen und erneuerten Burg gelegen. …Eine alte Steinbrücke über den Fluß,mit Flusskrebsen liegt vor dem Campingplatz eigenem Restaurant, eines der besten Restaurants Frankreichs, so sagt man. Der Campingplatz selbst hat wenige Stellplätze direkt am Fluss mit Strom und zentralem Wasser. Der Fluss hat eine gesunde Reinheit und ist nicht zu tief. Oberhalb des Campingplatzes steht eine Kirche, die auch sehenswert ist. Das Panorama vom Platz zur Burg mit dem Burgmuseum ist seine Reise wert. Am Campingplatz kann man einen Baguette Service in Anspruch nehmen. Die Atmosphäre ist mehr als entspannt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind einfach und dienen seinen guten Zweck. Eine Waschmaschine welche mit Wertmarken der Rezeption nutzbar ist. Mehrere Aussenwaschbecken für Geschirr und Wäsche und eine Wäscheleine im Freien. Es gibt einen kleinen Kinderspielplatz mit Rutsche und man kann Ping Pong spielen. Der Campingplatz ist sehr klein und Übersichtlich und wird gerne von Durchreisenden genutzt.
