"Quiet, inexpensive place - vacation rather not, ferry Calais top! - The site is recommended for an overnight stay before the ferry. The departure to the ferry is possible at any time via PIN lockers. Sanitary simple (no toilet seat or paper), but clean. In the village nothing going on, Super U or Lidl about 3 km. Price TOP: 11.50 EUR: Place + 2 persons + electricity ! Approx. 20 min. from Calais. Staff very friendly. As I said: Ferry site very good, vacation probably not.

"Nice place near the ferries - Nice little very quiet place, only 11,50 € all incl. At the beginning of June there were hardly any tourists. Clean spacious pitches, sanitary facilities good and clean, only the shower water was not warm enough. No V+E for camper vans. Only 30 minutes to the ferry to Dover.

"Well-managed course - I arrived late and was happy to get a pitch (not fully booked in high season). Pitch very well maintained and in good condition. Actually inexpensive, but if bicycles are charged extra as a vehicle on the invoice, it can quickly become expensive. I didn't find the beach the next day, but I did have a view of the Dunkirk nuclear power plant in the immediate vicinity of the harbor.

"Not really de la PLage but quiet - So the place is definitely not on the beach :-) You have to walk quite a bit. You should also pay attention to the tides, otherwise you can't even see the water :-) The site itself is well-kept, the pitches are relatively small and the electricity connections are rather central. WiFi included for one day. Waste garbage cans and water connections on the site are also central. The wash house is - as is rather common in France - vintage but clean. Showers, washbasins and hand basins, toilets in pure ceramic style :-) But everything is in good condition and perfectly acceptable, just like in France. The peace and quiet is very nice, as there is nothing around (except the inevitable German bunker on the cow pasture next door). Around 10:00 a.m. the baker comes honking across the square, good for late risers, bad for early birds - they should do their shopping the day before. A well-stocked Super U supermarket is a few kilometers away, including a reasonably priced petrol station. Certainly suitable as an overnight stay for the trip to Calais, but I'm not so convinced for a vacation.

" - A beautiful site with a varied tree population. The pitches are not overly large, partly shaded and with good tent flooring. The sanitary building is large, fairly new and well maintained. You can get the usual little things, such as ice cream etc., at the reception. A baker comes in the morning to provide hungry campers with baked goods. Camping de la Plage does mention a beach in its name, but we couldn't find one within walking distance. After a long hike, we finally reached a beach. However, we were only there for one night, there is certainly a shorter way to the beach. We found that it is essential to make a reservation in this area during the season, as the pitches are all full, if not fully booked. We were only lucky to be able to stay on this pitch for one night.
