"Close to nature and down-to-earth - simple standard, little comfort - our absolute favorite place - precisely because it doesn't have so much comfort... and that might put some people off - there's more space and peace for us - you can camp right by the stream (as long as you're not afraid of rising water levels during thunderstorms) or in the forest on partially hidden terraces (as long as you're not afraid of steep descents to the sanitary facilities in the dark).

"Pure tranquillity - The campsite is located in the middle of the forest at the head of a valley, which means that apart from the sound of a small stream, it is absolutely quiet here. The stream is partially accessible and, due to its shallow depth, is ideal for children to splash around in. You can camp on the tent meadow without prior booking. There are also some tent pitches on small terraces surrounded by trees (very idyllic). The pitches (with electricity) for caravans/mobile homes and large tents are divided into plots by hedges. There are also many tall trees here, so it is mostly shady. The site is very secluded, making it ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet, but also very good for hiking or mountain biking. Baguette service is available on the site, even on Sundays. Small snacks and the most important groceries are available from a kiosk. We will definitely be back!

"Pure nature - We discovered the place by chance a few years ago and like it very much because it is so quiet in the countryside and you can really relax there.From the place you can also reach some hiking trails on foot; by car you can reach the Route des Cretes in about a quarter of an hour and from there you can reach Hoheneck, Petit Ballon, Grand Ballon.... a little further away there are various beautiful lakes, Col de la Schlucht etc.In Colmar you are also in 20-30 minutes.The place itself is simply equipped, but clean. There is the possibility to order baguettes and croissants for breakfast and to buy the most necessary things on site. The sanitary facilities are also simple and older, but clean. There is a recreation room for bad weather, a small playground, boules court, table tennis table. The pitches are fairly level and mostly easily accessible. There is a large meadow for tents and beautiful terraces. The people there are very friendly and can also speak German. We have been spending long weekends there since 2003, the last time we were there was in 2011.

Waldidylle und Hecken säumen den betonierten Weg zur Anmeldung. Die meisten der Stellplätze sind mit Stromanschluss ausgestattet. Der Campingplatz bietet viele geräumige und private Stellflächen auf Gras. Wasser findet man am zentralen Punkt bei den Sanitäranlagen. Die Tischtennisplatte mit naheliegenden …Sitzmöglichkeiten schenkt sportliche Abwechslung und es kann Boule gespielt werden. Die Zeltwiese befindet sich in einem separaten Bereich und ist ebenfalls mit Strom ausgestattet. Außenwaschbecken mit Kennzeichnungen für Handwäsche oder Geschirr sowie Waschmaschinen befinden sich außerhalb der Toiletten und Duschräume. Wenn die Anmeldung nicht besetzt ist, gibt das Hinweisschild Anweisungen zur freien Platzwahl auf Deutsch und Französisch. Es gibt einen kleinen Kinderspielplatz bei der Anmeldung.

Ab und zu parken Autos an der Straße; es ist möglich, dass große Wohnmobile es bei der Durchfahrt etwas schwieriger haben als kleine, im Schritttempo und mit geübtem Fahrgeist ist …es jedoch machbar. Beim Folgen des Straßenverlaufs kommt dann eine kleine Brücke, diese führt direkt auf den schön angelegten, gepflegten und geräumigen Campingplatz.
