"Close to the city - We reserved this pitch in advance and therefore the pitch was already blocked for us with a chair. Some of the pitches are a little uneven and you have to bear in mind that the pitch is on a hill. Oversized motorhomes had their problems there. The site is mainly used as a stop-over site. It was already very cold there at the end of September. The main toilet block is new; there is also another toilet block on the hill. However, you have to bring your own toilet paper. Unfortunately, the soap was often empty. The site also has a lot of chalets and tent pitches.

"Beautiful square close to the city - On the whole, we were very satisfied with the site. The staff are friendly and attentive and the sanitary facilities are not luxurious (as usual in France, they should be a bit more spacious and one more hook wouldn't hurt), but that's complaining on a high level. The proximity to Annecy makes it easy to explore the town on foot or by bike. The whole region is obviously very much geared towards cyclists and you can do a wonderful loop around the lake (80-90% of the way without cars). A real downer was that there were a lot of campers with dogs. That's not a problem in itself, but being told off at every second caravan or barking for minutes in the middle of the night is not really great. As it may have been simply bad luck for us, this is certainly no reason to avoid the site.

"Nice campsite for sightseeing - The town is just a few minutes' walk away. However, the footpath is not flat. The campsite is recommended. Bread can be ordered the day before. Very friendly staff.

"Beautiful place for a visit to Annecy - Nice transit site to visit the beautiful old town of Annecy. Pitches at the entrance, pitches for late arrivals or remaining pitches in high season, very uneven. Great cycle path nearby, around the lake with some swimming opportunities. Boat tours are also offered. A restaurant boat with different menu prices also sails across the lake. New building with reception and sanitary facilities. Very nicely done. There is a three-day music festival in Annecy in summer

"Beautiful city camping - The campsite is located above the town of Annecy and some pitches have a view of the lake. The location on the wooded hillside is very quiet. Pitches on level gravel, all equipped with water and electricity. Sanitary facilities available in sufficient numbers, cleanliness in order (better for the men than for the women). Very friendly staff. Guests mainly couples over 40, some families and a few young people with tents. The site is within walking distance of the town and the lake (15-20 minutes). Small playground and mini golf course available. Conclusion: Quiet, beautifully situated city campsite, particularly suitable for couples or families with older children.

"aPlaceinGreen - We used the site while passing through. Meadow area on a slope; pitches are terraced; good pitches for motorhomes. Shade provided by old trees; English is also spoken at the reception.

Der Campingplatz liegt auf einer Anhöhe über dem Ort Annecy und dem Lac Annecy. Er bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf See und die Savoier Alpen. Neben dem Spielplatz findet man einen liebevoll angelegten Minigolfplatz zur freien Verfügung (mitten zwischen den …Stellplätzen). Außerdem wurde ein Grillplatz angelegt, der von den Campern ebenfalls kostenlos genutzt werden kann.
