- Fokko H.June 2016Advantagesbeautiful location directly on the beautiful Lac Ste CroixNegativesok in low season, possibly too hectic/crowded in high season? No shopping facilities on site (no baguette service either)wonderful location directly on the lake (Lac Ste Croix)Once you have made your way down the steep mountain road, you reach the huge complex (199 units in total). We only had a few pitches occupied, many areas were not yet open. Parts of the site are virtually right on the lake (separated only by a residential road). The pitches (for motorhomes in our case)... were ok, although the height was limited by low olive and fig trees. The sanitary facilities were ok, but there were no shopping facilities on site (no baguette service either!). The only small supermarket and the only restaurant were a strenuous walk up in the village of Ste Croix. The lake is a wonderful, clean body of water (probably serves as a drinking water lake for Marseille), it shimmers wonderfully in the most beautiful blue colors. Swimming is possible to a limited extent (pebble beach). Generally a nice location, but I don't want to know what it's like when it's full in high season and all the places are occupied (queuing for the toilets?).Automatically translated.
- Alan D.August 2012Very pleasant campsite, always clean. Facilities are convenient and centralized. The Lac de Sainte-Croix offers a wide range of activities. The only drawback is that there are no food stores within walking distance.Automatically translated.
