"Long weekend - We, a couple, were there for a long weekend. Uncomplicated registration. Pitches mainly gravel, with grass in front. Small, clean, older sanitary area. Good for cycling, tickets, Husum.

"nice and quiet, unfortunately dirty sanitary facilities - This campsite has the potential to be a 5 star campsite. The beautiful pitches, a small, quiet campsite for absolute peace and quiet. Everything is totally uncomplicated. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not cleaned once during the whole weekend. They had not been cleaned for a long time when we arrived. Furthermore, it is very inconvenient that there is no possibility to dispose of your chemical toilet on the campsite. I think that this should not be on a campsite.

"Familiar and close to nature - We stayed at the Margarethenruh campsite on Nordstrand years ago, sometimes on bike tours, sometimes as a family with a tent, and now for the first time in a rented caravan. The campsite is right on the dyke and is very green. You can quickly reach excursions on the mainland as well as destinations on the island. With the Engelsmühle and the Fischimbiss there are gastronomic offers within walking distance, only for shopping or bakery you need the bike or car. The caravan was well equipped with sanitary facilities, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, TV etc., dining table, wicker chair and deckchair in the awning. There was always a nice chat with the staff. We felt at home.

"Small, beautiful and clean - Small clean CP with electricity on site. Sanitary facilities very clean. Washing area available. Perfect for excursions. Very relaxed atmosphere.

"very narrow, totally planned - It is a small, 27-pitch site, has a small house in which the registration is located, a sink, a small seating area for tent campers and the toilet block. So far so nice. When I booked, I asked for a pitch next to a couple of friends. I arrived 2 days later than the couple in question, the only caravan pitch was at the other end of the site (ok, not too bad considering the size/smallness of the site). In response to my astonishment that I had actually asked to stand next to couple Xx, I was made to feel stupid and told that he could hardly move all the other caravans now. It has to be said that I never saw Mr. Paulsen (the owner of the campsite), only his two employees. After 1.5 weeks I was asked by the employee (who I had registered with on arrival) who exactly I was, how long I had been there and how long I would be staying. But the thing that bothered me the most about this pitch was that the person on the pitch behind me was definitely not allowed to have an awning, otherwise I could no longer open my side window because the tent was only 3 cm away. Fortunately, I had the front pitch, so I could use the space in front of me facing the "through road", but I could only empty my toilet at the back if I had no neighbors. All in all, the impression remains - reorganized - no accommodation at all - cramped

"...a beautiful three star place! - ...located directly on the dyke, café (with small bakery) and a snack bar within walking distance. The place itself is well-kept, partly planted with trees and hedges. Sanitary is okay! There is a very nice lounge. However, some pitches are very small! We would not have been able to extend the awning on our caravan ...and no....there is also no more space for the car on the pitch. Conclusion...we felt comfortable, for a long weekend it was okay👍

Mitten im Ortsteil Süderhafen windgeschützt direkt hinter den Seedeich im Naturschutzpark Nordfriesisches Wattenmeer gelegen, finden Sie bei uns mit Kies befestigte Plätze für Wohnmobile, grüne Plätze …für Wohnwagen und einen sehr guten Komfort bei der sonstigen Ausstattung des Platzes. Grundnahrungsmittel, Bäcker, Konditor, Frühstück, Mittagstisch, Imbiss, Restaurant, Bushaltestelle, Badestelle, Segelhafen finden Sie in unmittelbarer Nähe (50-150m). Wattwanderrungen zu Fuß oder mit Pferd und Wagen in den Nationalpark Wattenmeer, Fahrradtouren, Schiffsfahrten zu den Seehundsbänken und zu den Halligen und Inseln , Surfen, Reiten, Tennis, Golfen und vieles mehr sind Erholung pour. Ganz besonders zu erwähnen ist unsere saubere, gesunde, jodhaltige frische Nordseeluft. Geöffnet haben wir von Ostern bis zum 31.10. sowie über Neujahr mit einem großen Beiprogramm sowie einem Kalt- Warmen Buffet. Zum Bikebrennen am 21.02. feiern wir das Fest der Friesem am Feuer mit einem züftigen Grühnkolessen.

Von dort der Ausschilderung folgend nach Nordstrand. Auf der Halbinsel Nordstrand biegen Sie links Richtung Süderhafen ab. Im Ort, immer geradeaus fahrend, finden Sie uns dann auf der linken Straßenseite direkt hinter dem Seedeich.
