"Beautiful natural site, right by the sea - First Camp Oknö, Mönsterås is a natural, elongated site with many pitches overlooking the Baltic Sea! Very friendly welcome in German, run by Germans. Great large playground, small boat harbor and wonderful view of the Baltic Sea! Sanitary facilities and the entire infrastructure are tip-top! Everything you could wish for at the Baltic Sea is available! Even a restaurant! The sanitary facilities and scullery are practical and nice, but not luxurious. They match the design of the pitch. There are also chairs in the washroom so you can make yourself comfortable in the spacious, light wooden area!

"Pure tranquillity - We stayed at this beautifully located campsite for 11 nights in June 2017 in great weather. Unfortunately no longer under German management. The staff were very friendly. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but almost always clean. We paid around 400 euros for the 11 nights for the car, caravan and 2 people. I thought that was a bit excessive for the low season. Just as well that electricity and showers were included. You can easily cycle the 4 km to the nearest supermarket as there is a cycle path leading directly there. Fishing is also possible from land. My wife was also very happy about the free use of the washing machine. But be careful! The hot water in the kitchen is very hot! If you are traveling with your own boat, there is also a small marina with a slipway.

"Very relaxing - We were there in the summer of 2016 in sunny weather, it was so wonderfully relaxing. The sanitary facilities were always clean (although they were getting on in years). You can make beautiful excursions - we were in Astrid Lindgren Land and also with Michel in Lönneberga. The area is easy to explore by bike and you can also cycle to the nearest supermarket. We will definitely be back again.

"Vacation right from the start - A beautifully situated site. The pitches are large. Directly on the Baltic Sea. Fishing, swimming, cycling, hiking possible directly from the site. Friendly staff. We stayed there for 2 weeks and had a great time. No place for party people. If you want a quiet vacation, this is the place for you. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean.

"Pure nature - We rented a deluxe vacation home and found it to be very clean. The location on a quiet side road is fantastic, you feel like you're alone in the middle of nature. Laundry line at every house, vacuum cleaner and broom, plenty of storage space, friendly staff - what more could you want? There are more beautiful beaches than the one right next to the campsite, but you can quickly get somewhere else by car. From fall 2014 there will be an ICA grocery store nearby (approx. 5km).

On this complex you can rent a boat, or sail, fish and surf or if …the weather turns sour, you can enjoy the Water Park in Mönsterås. During the Spring and Summer, there are several events nearby: the Blues & Roots festival in Mönsterås, the Vis festival (music festival) in Västervik and the midsummer celebrations in Oknö. Welcome!
