"Nice place in a nice little town - We were in Luxembourg for the first time for 14 days - a country which is obviously (wrongly) left out by German campers. On the beautifully situated site with a view of the castle and within walking distance of the beautiful town of Vianden with its nice pubs and medieval castle, almost 95% of the campers were Dutch. The sanitary facilities were ok, well cleaned, but almost no individual washing cubicles. TV connection only on the newer part of the site. Pitches in the first row on the river partly slightly sloping. Place and surroundings very quiet during the day and at night. Bread rolls can be pre-ordered at the reception, but are completely overpriced, better in the village (two bakeries here). Very good hiking opportunities - shopping and restaurants on the German side (approx. 4km. much cheaper). Place, town and country are definitely worth a visit.
