"Wonderful - We stayed at the Ortnerhof for the first time, and that was during the biathlon week. Super service, very nice staff, even last-minute changes were still possible. Everything is okay in the bathroom and toilet :-), the sanitary facilities are well maintained. Bus stop right next to the campsite. Unfortunately the bus no longer runs in the evening, but that's not the Ortnerhof's fault.

"Very well managed campsite - We have been coming to the Ortnerhof campsite for the Biathlon World Cup for a few years now and are always very satisfied. We also like to come to the Ortnerhof campsite on the way south or on the way home. The Bichler family is very helpful and friendly.

"8-day stay via Biathlon 2025 - We were looking for a campsite that was open all year round. We arranged to meet up with friends at short notice and off we went. We had originally booked a day later, but we managed to get through with the caravan, so we arrived a day earlier. We called the Bichler family from the road and it was no problem at all. After registering - we didn't actually register until the afternoon - the boss took us to the pitch with the 🚜. Our friends were allowed to drive straight there with their four-wheel drive. We passed the sanitary building with drying room and kiosk. Everything important and new was also displayed in the shop window. After setting up and taking our first photos of the surrounding mountains, we had a nice cup of mulled wine. Great and clean wash house, good bus connections. We will be back. Absolutely. The almost 1000 kilometers were worth it.

"Winter camping biathlon - A very nice campsite surrounded by mountains. We came for the biathlon: the shuttle buses stop right at the campsite. All the information about the sporting event was available. Modern, very clean sanitary facilities. Even an (unfortunately involuntary) extension of four days was unproblematic. Even shopping requests were fulfilled, as we were completely laid up due to illness. We would love to come back. A tiny minus: unfortunately dogs are not allowed. So we can't go on a family vacation with our children.

Fantastic location at the foot of the Rauschberg mountain, in the heart of the magnificent Chiemgau mountain country. The ideal holiday destination for the best days of the year. Outstandingly clean washing facilities, small kiosk, cosyrestaurant, children's play and football …area, table tennis, skittle alleys, cross country ski courses, cycle and hiking trails, children's play house with underfloor heating (150 m2). Central location for trips to the Berchtesgadener Land, Chiemsee, Münich and Austria. There is a bus stop right at the campsite. With the Ruhpolding"eXtra card" holiday pass (included in price),many Ruhpolding leisure attractions such as cable cars, recreation and amusement park, open air pool, "Vita-Alpina" adventure pool and much more can be used free of charge.
