- wyss h.August 2022AdvantagesWe arrived spontaneously at the end of August, with dog, the place is clear and natural, sanitary, camper kitchen and reception are housed in one building, everything was clean, Klaus, the placed always has an open ear and is an original!NegativesWould be nice if some things like drinks could be purchased, otherwise I wouldn't change much!David and heikeWe especially liked the friendliness and the personal touch, you are not a number there, and Klaus, who was placed there, contributed a lot to this!Automatically translated.

- Roy K.July 2018Inexpensive but that's almost itWe received a very friendly welcome and the pitch we were allocated was nice and big, but very uneven. It was not so easy to pitch our tent properly. A few pegs broke on the ground. Apart from ours, there were hardly any tents to be seen, the site is very busy with permanent campers, 90% of whom don't... give you a chance to have a nice chat or anything else. Not even a hello came back from most of them. There are a lot of people from Hamburg on the site, I know them quite differently, definitely much friendlier. Right next to our "tent meadow" is a permanent camper from Hamburg, who is probably the site cop and always wants to impose his rules on every "newcomer", according to the motto "he is the law". He wasn't quite so successful with us, he must have noticed :-) The toilet facilities and shower rooms weren't the newest, I think 70s style, and not much has happened since then. They were cleaned every morning but the cleaners couldn't cope with so many piglets, they would have had to clean them several times. I have never seen so many cobwebs etc. on any other campsite. We are not at all fussy about the quiet times, but every evening there was a party, e.g. in the "Apfelkornweg" (the name says it all), which was really exaggerated, cars were constantly driving across the site even during the night and unfortunately nobody cared. But at 01:00 it was usually quiet, but sometimes it started again at 05:30. The Süssau beach promenade was actually quite nice but unfortunately the stores are gradually going out of business. What a pity. I would like to recommend "Kombüse 13", a very good snack bar with delicious food and a staff that always had a good saying and the bakery directly on the promenade with good bread rolls and a large selection. It's always very busy there in the morning but the view of the Baltic Sea makes up for the waiting time. All in all, we made the best of it, but we won't be coming back, even though the price was unbeatable.Automatically translated.
