"Good but electricity price break - Good for a short stay. Price-performance is not right because of Electricity price trick twice as expensive as average. Too bad.

"Beautiful place in great surroundings - We only knew Kandersteg from the car loading station - but it has such great landscapes for hiking and climbing. We felt very comfortable on the pitch. We were lucky enough to be in the upper part of the site with the camper van, with a view over the whole campsite and a large pitch. The campsite warden Raffael was always helpful and super friendly.

"Rendez-Vous, the little pearl in the Bernese Oberland - We know the place mainly in winter for winter sports. This summer was our first time on this small, manageable site. The reception by the Ryter family was very courteous and friendly. The pitch allocation was professional. Despite the high season, we were able to choose 3-4 pitches. There were both shady and sunny pitches. The site is partly terraced and appears clean and well-kept. It is also very quiet despite being well occupied. The sanitary facilities are also clean. In high season, however, the two showers and three toilets are clearly too small. There is also a small store in the reception, which offers everything you need, including a bread roll service.

"Cozy place in a great location - We received a very friendly welcome. The place is very quiet and the location in the Kandersteg mountains is great. You are right on the hiking trails and there are excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

"Close to nature and cozy - We had a great stay. The welcome and service were very friendly. The valley station of the cable car to Öschinensee is right next to the campsite. The small kiosk has the essentials and you can order fresh bread every day.

The campsite is at 1200m (400ft) in the pleasant village of Kandersteg, which is surrounded by a charming mountain scenery. OPEN ALL YEAR ! Our camping is set out in terraces. In summer you stay directly on the hiking trails, …in winter on the ski slopes and cross country ski slopes. Across the whole site you have the priceless view of the fascinating Kandersteg mountains.
