"Ameland at Camping Roosdunen was very nice!!! - We stayed at Roosdunen for three weeks with 2 children (9 and 11). It was very nice. There is an area for tents, caravans and motorhomes near the wash house. A large part of the site is occupied by mobile homes. There is a nice playground, a mini golf course, a trampoline area, a football pitch and the lovely outdoor swimming pool (free for campers). This was a highlight for our children with its slide and diving board. The beach can be reached by bike in about 8 minutes. It's a great path through the dunes to the beach. The beach is very wide. There is an area between flags for supervised swimming. There is animation on the site in Dutch. Showers and washing up have to be paid for with coins. We had a great vacation and would highly recommend the campsite and Ameland, and the staff were always very friendly.

Familiencampingplatz Roosdunen Dieser gemütliche Familiencampingplatz befindet sich in ausgezeichneter Lage auf der Insel Ameland. Der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen und das rustikale Dörfchen Ballum liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Campingplatz liegt auf 8 Hektar Dünengebiet und verfügt über …ca. 80 großzügige Plätze. Auf dem Platz stehen 350 Wohnwagen mit festem Standplatz, von denen einige von der Campingplatzverwaltung und privaten Anbietern vermietet werden. Der Campingplatz bietet alle notwendigen Einrichtungen für einen rund um sorglosen Aufenthalt: ausgezeichnete Sanitäranlagen, einen Freizeitraum, Schwimmbad, Kindespielplätze, Snackbar, Waschsalon, WiFi Netzwerk und einen Campingladen. In der Hochsaison steht ein aktives Freizeitteam mit einem abwechslungsreichen Programm für Jung und Alt bereit. Kurz gesagt: dieser Campingplatz bietet Ihnen alle Zutaten für einen gelungenen Urlaub!
