"Ideal starting point for sightseeing in Sibiu and the surrounding area - Camping Sălişteanca in the small village of Săliște is a small, nice campsite near Sibiu (Hermannstadt). We stayed here at the end of August 2018 at the beginning of our tour of Romania/Bulgaria and then again for a few days at the beginning of October on our return journey. The site is small, quiet and clean (the sanitary facilities are relatively new and very well maintained), the owner couple very friendly and helpful. There is a covered recreation room and a room with a table tennis table and other games. There is a small supermarket nearby where you can get (almost) everything, but there is also a small market in the village every day ... Restaurants are about 1.5 km away. The site is ideal for exploring the beauty and diversity of the region around Sibiu (including the old town and the open-air museum of Sibiu, the Fagaras Mountains with the Transfogaras High Road, the Transalpina ...).

"Nice, intimate campsite - Peaceful, quiet, clean place. Friendly, contactable host. Ideal point for excursions to the mountains and also for sightseeing in Sibiu and its surroundings. Also convenient accommodation during longer transit trips (proximity to the highway).

"Small, cozy camping :) - A small, intimate campground. Very friendly and courteous host. Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. There is also a playroom for children and a small kitchen. The camping site is located in a very charming town with a river running through it, with interesting buildings around it, a park, stores and small bars.... It seems as if time has stopped there :) People polite, smiling, greeting newcomers....

"Nice place and people - We came to this camping late evening, but the owner was outside, like he was waiting for us :-) We got our spot very fast and literally 10 minutes after arrival we could eat late dinner in our camper and rest. We got very good night sleep this night and very good hot bath next morning. Owner was super nice and talked good English. Our 2 dogs were more than welcomed and I can recomend this place for every tired Romania traveller.
