"Small beautiful place - The location is of course great (airport), which is why we stayed there. The cleanliness could be better, but was still bearable. From there it is also very easy to visit the sights such as Gunnuhver, Bridge between the continents, Krysuvik etc.

"Lighter than light - It's nice, clean, lots of hot water, free showers, electricity, playground, barbecue area, peace and quiet. the best thing is that the camping mother (a girl of 16 - 18 years) comes and demands payment when she does her rounds. Of course she takes cards. She lives in the townhouses right across the street.

"Affordable campsite near the airport - We actually wanted to camp in Reykjavik, but we couldn't find one and headed for a site near the airport. At 800 crowns per person, it was a cheap campsite for Iceland. The site is fairly new on the edge of the village. There is even hot water for washing up.
