"A very basic standard with many flaws - I’ve been visiting Camping Santa Margherita on and off for several years now. In my opinion, this campground can no longer compete with any other campground on the Adriatic coast. The facilities are very basic, but the prices are nearly on par (for a two-week stay—about a €100 difference) with those of the nearby luxury campgrounds. It doesn’t have a swimming pool or offer any on-site recreational activities. The beach lounge area must be booked separately and is also quite expensive. It feels like every other camper at the campground has at least one dog with them. The paths on the campground (except for the entrance area) are either sandy or gravel. The campsites are all individually shaped and not suitable for every vehicle. In the upper and rear areas, there are taller trees that provide shade; however, pigeons live in the trees and sometimes (depending on the site) leave a lot of droppings on the RVs, awnings, and everything else outside. The spots by the beach offer almost no shade; without running the air conditioning all day, you’ll get sunburned here. On weekends, be prepared for the nearby beach disco to keep you awake until 1 a.m., and even during the week, there are sometimes very loud events in the neighboring park (on the side facing away from the beach). And I’m really not particularly sensitive to this, but the sheer volume of it here really crosses the line. The restroom facilities are very, very basic. In the lower washhouse, you still get some water pressure from the shower, but the water temperature setting here (as with all the other showers) is only a rough guide—it changes constantly. All in all, the campground gives me the impression that it’s just being run on autopilot; for at least 20 years, nothing—absolutely nothing—has improved in terms of facilities. I can no longer recommend this campground.

"Margherita Camping Caorle - Hassle-free check-in, very friendly welcome. We hadn’t made a reservation, so we were driven by golf cart to the available spots and were able to choose one. Our campsite was in the quiet part of the campground, generously sized, and just a few steps from the beach. The restroom facilities are partly outdated and partly renovated, but all are clean. There’s a small supermarket and a nice pizzeria. Camping Margherita is worth recommending even if you’re just passing through, and the historic center of Caorle is worth seeing.

"No place despite confirmation - We called at midday and asked to reserve a space for our motorhome. We are told to come, there are enough places available. When we arrived in the afternoon, we were told with indescribable arrogance that everything was taken. You're out of luck. Try somewhere else. There's just a lot going on. That's no way to treat each other!

"Very centrally located campsite - We have been coming here to the campsite for many years now. We have always felt very comfortable. However, over the past 2 to 3 years, the campsite has unfortunately developed into a dog park, which is accompanied by dogs barking during the day and sometimes all night long. More and more dog owners no longer consider it necessary to clean up after their dogs. I stepped in dog poo twice last summer. Many dog owners are also not obliged to keep their dogs on a lead. Because of this situation, we will consider whether we will continue to come to this campsite. But there are also positive things to report. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do their best to please every guest. Unfortunately, there are always guests who complain about the hygienic conditions in the washrooms. The cleaning staff make an effort several times a day to regularly remove the guests' dirt in the washrooms, but many people obviously don't realize that it is the camping guests who cause the dirt and not the cleaning staff.

"Good location, but nothing more - A somewhat winding campsite with direct access to the beach, the old town of Caorle is within walking distance. The staff are friendly. The wash houses are a cheek! Old, dirty and absolutely too few for so many pitches...
