"Camping in Schiltach? - July 10, 2023, 30 degrees, arrival on Tuesday afternoon, nobody at the registration desk, neither in the office nor on the pitch. No showers without shower tokens. First impression: unkempt pitch, no water connection on the pitch, little shade. Wanted to leave early the next morning, but couldn't. Office only opened at 9.30 am. And then, without taking personal details, 30.40 euros (!) for 2 people (and without electricity)! We would not recommend this site to any camper. By the way: Schiltach? Dead pants. (And there was no pizza either).

"The welcome was so great, THANK YOU - We drove onto the campsite in our Bully and were greeted as if we were regular guests.... It was our first time on the site and we will be staying there again. Everything was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, a great selection of dishes. Anyone who has anything to complain about here should stay in a hotel. Best regards to HERRMANN.

"small, quiet, friendly - A small, friendly campsite on the banks of the river, the entrance would be difficult for large motorhomes due to the steepness and a bend around reception. Bread is available to order daily, the beautiful small town of Schiltach is 3 minutes walk away with plenty to see and do, museums, shops, cafes, wonderful architecture. Nearby there is the Rodelbahn and an excellent folk museum at Gutach where there are also large supermarkets. There is a very popular restaurant on site and small children's playarea. Plenty of trees for shade. The showers (need tokens from reception) and toilets do shut at 10pm, very little English is spoken but we managed fine. Overall a lovely, quaint little site in a very good location. We stayed here for 5 days in July and would recommend it if you want somewhere small, quiet and peaceful.

"Gladly again - Small, idyllic campsite. Super nice boss and totally delicious cuisine. Bread roll service top, maga selection of bread rolls and a coffee machine! Price performance absolutely ok What bothered us was the church ringing, but not between 10pm and 6am.

"Very suitable for excursions in the surrounding area - The reception was very friendly and I was able to choose a pitch myself. The pitch made a good and well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities were clean. I ate in the restaurant, the food was good and the price-performance ratio was okay. I felt very comfortable at this campsite and would happily stay there again.

"A very nice campground in an old town with a small train station - A nice small family campsite on the Kinzig where you can also eat good food located in an old half-timbered town and near a railway station that allows tourists to travel throughout the Black Forest for free. The town of Schiltach is actually centrally located in the area with the nicest villages around it.

Profile

Im landschaftlich reizvollen Schwarzwald, unmittelbar am Kinzigurfer, liegt der Campingplatz Schiltach. Die Anlage verfügt über ausgestattete Duschen und Toiletten, eine Chemietoilette mit Wasseranschluss, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Zentrifuge und Handwaschbecken. Die Stellplätze sind umgeben von grüner Wiese und eine Vielzahl an Bäumen …bietet überdies teilweisen Schatten. Als besonderer Service gilt das Angebot von täglich frischen Brötchen, sowie die Möglichkeit bei gedecktem Tisch zu frühstücken. Das campingeigene Restaurant lädt seine Gäste außerdem zu Mittagessen und Abendessen ein. Für die kleinen Gäste reichen die Freizeitmöglichkeiten auf und in der Nähe des Platzes von Tischtennis, über Minigolf, einer Sommerrodelbahn bis hin zu einem Besuch des Freibads. Die Stadt Schiltach ist mit seinen Fachwerkhäusern und der Altstadt eine Sehenswürdigkeit an sich aber auch die Umgebung lädt zu ausgiebigen Wanderungen oder Besuchen besonderer Orte ein. Die Triberger Wasserfälle oder auch das Glasbläsermuseum sind bedeutende Stellen der Region.
