"Never again - Would actually like to give 0 stars. Starting with the way the campsite owner treated us. We had originally reserved for 5 nights, but could only stay 3 - we clarified in advance that we would only arrive one day later, which was denied by the gentleman. What's more, attacking and insulting our group of friends, who arrived at the campsite on the agreed arrival day, and threatening them is absolutely inappropriate. Furthermore, we were not even greeted on the day of arrival etc., but were immediately insulted and threatened again, should we dare to have a discussion here (or give an explanation) we would be expelled from the site on the same day - we had agreed to pay for all days without any resistance - but apparently this was not right either. That's how it is on this site. In itself, the location on the Rhine would also be nice, but the proximity to the busy railroad tracks and the cargo ships on the river itself do not necessarily ensure quiet nights. Sanitary facilities were fine and clean, but they are housed in containers. All in all a bad experience, apart from the fact that none of our group would ever want to stay here again, we were banned for life. Thanks, but no thanks.

"Beautifully situated - A mixed campsite for motorhomes and caravans. Very clear site with supply and disposal, bread roll service and snack car with draught beer.

"Camping Schonburgblick. Oberwesel - We find it a super place,I really relax there and enjoy the ships or boats passing by.Also the owners do their best to always offer us a nice place if possible.Great for cycling.I have lost my heart there when we do not want to travel too far from Belgium.

"Super campsite - Nice campsite, sanitary facilities in a container but very clean, nice operators. The campsite is located in the Rhine valley, so of course you can hear the shipping traffic and the rail traffic on both sides.

"Nice place. Visited - Very nice place to look at ships and railroads from close up, more than on the Neckar in Plochingen. You can walk to breakfast in 2 minutes in the morning, dining options in the village can be reached in 5 minutes. As for the noise, it's the ships and railroads I came for, but nothing to bear. Sanitary facilities are just sufficient for the site, as 90% of the campers have their own washing facilities. All in all, I find the place good for me, where I want to watch ships. Helmut R.

"Beautiful campsite directly on the Rein - Campsite right on the Rhine. If you have a pitch by the river it is very romantic in the evening, almost as if you were sitting in front of a miniature landscape. Opposite the Rhine trains every 5 minutes and ships every minute The place is clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the owners are very friendly, whoever complains should remember that the sanitary facilities are housed in containers, which is not disturbing. Considering that they have to be rescued in case of flooding. Whoever complains has no idea what it means to live on the Rhine where you have to remove everything in case of flooding. There is a supermarket and various other stores about 350 meters away.

Unser kleiner romantischer Campingplatz bietet Stellplätze für Wohnwagen, Wohnmobile und Zelte teilweise direkt am Rheinufer. Schauen Sie den vorbeifahrenden Schiffen zu und genieße Sie die Energie des fließenden Wassers. Unser Biergarten bietet heimische Weine, Bier vom Faß und einen kleinen …schmackhaften Imbiss. In 10 Minuten zu Fuß sind Sie in der historischen Innenstadt von Oberwesel. Zwei Supermärkte sowie ein Baumarkt liegen nicht weit von Campingplatz und können zu Fuß schnell erreicht werden. Frische Brötchen liefert unser einheimsicher Bäcker morgens direkt auf den Platz. Auch Hunde dürfen auf unseren Platz, gerne kühlen sie sich im Rhein ab. Der linksrheinische Radweg führt direkt hinter dem Platz vorbei und interessante Wanderwege führen am Rhein entlang und in die Seitentäler.
