"nice week Black Forest vacation - From registration to payment (only cash is king), everything is straightforward here. Super friendly and helpful host family. Large terraced pitches. The camper is almost straight thanks to a trough for the tire! Great idea! Hiking trails from the site. Free public transport to Basel... We really enjoyed the week with our Dutch neighbors. The snack bar has delicious pizza and much more at reasonable prices.

"Beautiful place above the village, great view - The pitch is located above the village and offers a beautiful view. The pitches are laid out in 2 terraces with water outlets and inlets. Some of the water supply requires a longer pipe. Due to the hillside location, the pitches are not completely level, and the ground has been deepened a little in the area of the bikes. Modern toilet and washroom facilities. Hot shower (5 min.), as well as electricity and WLan (1 hour/day) included in the price. Dishwasher with detergent free of charge, washing machine with detergent for a fee. Cars must be parked separately, therefore little traffic on the site. Every effort is made to act as ecologically as possible. Ideal starting point for hikes in the Black Forest mountains, documents with route suggestions, which I can only recommend, are provided free of charge upon registration by the friendly and helpful operators. We were completely satisfied in the 10 days, can highly recommend the place.

"Nice little place to relax. - The site is located above Simonswald. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The pitches are a bit sloping, you have to build underneath some of them. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the shower cubicles were pleasantly large. There are a few restaurants and small stores in the village, including 2 bakeries. The Europapark in Rust is about 50 km away and very easy to reach by car. Hikes in the region are very attractive but also quite challenging in places. We liked the place very much, we would come again.

"Friendly and helpful management - We arrived at the site with the motorhome + trailer with two motorcycles in a heavy thunderstorm, Mr. Evers gave us a relaxed place to unload and a temporary parking space. After two days we were given a spacious pitch for the camper van, trailer and motorcycles. Mr. Evers proved to be very friendly and very helpful in every situation, provided jacks and wheel chocks without being asked, was always in a good mood and also helped everyone to manoeuvre the vehicles. On the day of departure (after 3 pleasant weeks) the motorhome had an unpleasant contact with the name plate at the entrance, Mr. and Mrs. Evers were also extremely helpful here and did not say a word about the damaged sign. In short, you rarely find such friendly, personal and helpful C-pitch hosts.

"Small but nice - We stayed at the campsite over Whitsun and were very satisfied. The guests were a good mix of Germans, Dutch and British. Very young, young, old and very old were all mixed together. The campsite is family-run. Without a lot of fuss but really well run. One hour of Wi-Fi is free, more must be purchased and is probably very expensive. Card payment is currently not possible. Bread rolls have to be ordered in advance.

"Nice quiet campsite - We rented the Black Forest Lodge for 1 week with 2 people. The furnishings are very cozy. The lodge is perfectly adequate for two people. With 4 people it can perhaps be a bit cramped in terms of luggage storage. The vehicles are parked in front of the campsite. The parking lot is on a slope, but we always found a good spot for our motorcycles. A base for the side stand is very helpful. We always have plates with us. We really enjoyed our time here. Unfortunately we only had 1 week.
